BTW - the HNIC crew is killing Subban. I've been flipping back and forth, but evidently his big hits and yapping is riling up the Bruins. But he won't back up his talk.... Camallari ended up fighting (his first career fight), and he sits on the bench laughing it up about it. Camallari had to leave the game briefly after being cut... hmmmmm......
Isn't it amazing that everyone seems to have a problem with Subban? Must be jealousy...

However, hearing that Marchand got levelled doesn't hurt my feelings. The two of them were made for each other -- cocky *******s who think they're better than they are.

Didnt see it on here, but the Yotes had to sign some 26 yr old. Fenton works in the office of community relations at nearby Manhattanville College. He used to play in the AHA (I have no idea). I was kinda hoping LaBarbera would get hurt so I could see the guy play LOL

http://prohockeytalk.nbcsports.com/2...cy-backup-job/

also NHL.com has an interview with him.

That would actually be a great name for a Montreal Board mod.

Hahaha...you should propose it. It might not come off so inflammatory if you bring it up.

If we play the Habs in the playoffs I will have a username bet with a Habs mod and that will be the name. Or Beef could always do that......

Kristian Huselius had a hattie tonight in a 6-3 loss to Edmonton and wasn't named one of the three stars.

A moron on facebook just posted on the Broad Street Bullies' page that it's good that Pronger may be out because the power play will cycle faster and have a better chance of scoring if he isn't slowing it down.

I've seen some irrational Flyers fans in my day, but this wins and no, it's not even close.

They should've given one to Mason for looking like beautiful fireworks as he exploded.

Also, of players with 10+ goals so far this season, Giroux is 2nd in Shot %. Milan Lucic is number 1, Crosby and Stamkos are 3rd and 4th respectively.

Ovechkin and Semin have no heart and should be traded immediately
Because we all know, missed shots mean you suck and have no heart right?

Atlanta is actually leading their division. Who thought that would happen at any point this season past the first week? Granted, this is due to the Caps being in a major slump and the Lightning having played 2 games less, but I've been quite impressed with that Thrashers team this season.

They are doing the worst thing that an NHL team can be... good but not good enough. It sucks but if you aren't a Cup Contender then you may as well be a lottery team.

Depends on what their prospect group is like. They have the pieces and core to keep a good team going, but they need some top-end talent to push them over the top. IIRC though, their prospect pool isn't anything special despite their low finishes over the years. I would assume Burmistrov is their best prospect, but I have no clue.

You're right though. Fringe playoff team land is the absolute worst place to be. Just ask the Rags.

The Hockey News is now copy-pasting printing quotes from players off their respective twitter accounts. I can't really decide whether this is great news for new media, or just incredibly ****** news for old print media.

Anyway, they've been showcasing the account of my fellow austrian Michael Grabner, if only because he's commenting on the horrendous losing streak of the Isles.

I don't know if it's already corrected or not, but an hour ago or so I checked THN via iPhone and one of the headlines was "Zherdev leads Ranger's to their fith straight win".

Yeah, when Eric Boulton gets a hattrick against you, you're doing something wrong.
