17 down, 33 to go.

Quick better get performer of the night on "NHL on the fly".

LOL. You can hear the song in the back ground of the VS Feed

What a game by Jon Quick. That was a bounce back statement right there. What a goalie. What a shutout.

- While the Wings clearly dominated puck possession (not unexpected) and obviously had a ton of shots, the d-men did a pretty good job A) letting Quick get a view of as many shots as possible; B) taking care of the front of the net and any rebounds as well. Quick deserves all the credit in the world and made a ton of fantastic saves but the d-men played well within the circumstances.

- The 3rd line was great again. Such a different beast with Poni back.

- Great to see Doughty (initially) and Johnson get on the board even though Drew lost his goal he had 3 assists. We need more offense from our d-men and those are the two that stir that drink.

- Hopefully Greene and Scuds are okay.

Quick's back, Mitchell's back, Doughty's back, the KINGS are back, .........and apparently the only way the Wings get a penalty is when someone on the opposing team is spitting blood and/or teeth.

Great way to start a trip, you can hear the music and all, this team wants to win every game this week. A highlight game for Quick after his loss Saturday, and how the heck did we score 5 goals? Moller got one too!

First SO for Detriot this year. Quick ended the Wing's streak of 37 home games in a row with at least 2 goals.

That wasn't the case at all. Most of all his rebounds were picked up by our defense. There were very few second chance attempts when you consider the fact he faced 51 shots.

Quick was amazing. Our offense capitalized. The D played well.

But **** injuries! We're getting killed by the injury bug. It's depressing. Greene is probably going to be out for a while.

Does Harrold replace Greene and play with Martinez?

Do you play Drewiske with Martinez? Martinez with Mitchell and go back to Johnson-Harrold?

Yeah, like that one where Quick made a stick save on a shot behind him from... oh yeah, right in front of the goal. Or that one where Quick stretched out to the left and stopped the rebound from... right in front of the goal.

Hard to say that Quick stole one when the Kings scored five goals
You don't think it might have gone differently if Detroit had scored 2 or 3 in the 1st period like, by all rights, they should have?

Quote:
Rest of the team played great.
They capitalized on their chances, and they played pretty well in the 3rd period. But when they more than doubled our shots on goal figure for the first two periods and end up with FIFTY ONE? I don't know if I call that playing great. I think we played pretty weak for a good chunk of the game, and I definitely think Quick stole that one.

Stupid Versus commentators. They said "no significant injuries" like 3 times.

Just wanted to stop by and offer congrats on the win, and I figured Quick deserved some more praise, so I'm gonna give it to him. That man was absolutely fabulous tonight. He's turning out a whole hell of alot better than I ever imagined. Kudos to him and the Kings.

Best of luck to you guys moving forward.
