Those lines are very strange, Stajan gets to watch from the box again. Calgary should be able to win at least 2 of their next 3 games, preferably all 3.

CBJ lines (used on Saturday versus Rangers)

Nash - Brassard - Voracek
Sestito - Vermette - Umberger
Moreau - Pahlsson - Dorsett
Murray - MacKenzie - Clark

Methot - Klesla
Russell - Commodore
Tyutin - Hejda

Mason (just a guess)
Garon

To give an honest assessment of the CBJ - I don't know which team will show up for the game tonight. The hard-hitting one that wins, or the soft pansy-filled one that usually gets killed. Calgary played the 2nd one last time. The 1st one showed up versus the Rangers on Saturday.

Gotta love our 3.5 million of healthy scratch....not to mention a retarded lineup. JOKINEN DOES NOT WORK WITH IGINLA! ****s sake, figure it out by now.

Well he's been doing fine lately, why the hell not.

I doubt those are our lines though. Tangs and Iggy were back together at the end of the last game I think? And I doubt Stajan will sit two in a row.

Sitting Stajan is a good call. Guy has done NOTHING while playing with 2 great players in Iggy and Tanguay. Jokinen back on the first? well he has 2 goals in 2 games maybe he can find his groove. PLEASE ****ING GOD find your goddamm groove whatever the hell it is. Flames fans don't know we've never seen it!

Bourque is questionable with flu-like symptoms. Sweet.. Well you would have to think if he can't play than Stajan would get the nod amirite?

Olli on the top line, not expecting much, but here's hoping. 3-2 Flames?

Jokinen won't be very productive on the first line. Why do we have to juggle lines if he is playing well?

I like those lines, Morrison is pure awesome and I'm glad he's getting the ice time. What a bargain deal by Sutter, I think the Flames need to find a trading partner and ship Stajan off to some other team for a better center or a winger.

Jokinen is slowly playing better so I understand the promotion, Iginla is on fire and hopefully Bourque plays despite the flu symptoms. TURN IT AROUND FLAMES~!

Maybe at the beginning of the season but he hasn't done much for the past month. No surprise really though.

There are so many underachievers with Calgary it sickens me. BMo has pretty much played to expectations, Tanguay should really be at the pace he is and Bourque should finish the season with 60+ pts, which is where I expect him. Other than that, Jokinen, Stajan, Iginla, Kotalik (so far) and even Backlund have underperformed both production wise and in overall play. Glenner and Moss have been okay but Glenner needs to take less penalty's and actaully show up 100% of the time (much like the rest of the team. Moss is probably a 30pt, 3rd line winger. He is right about there. The only ones playing well are the goalies, Jackman (and the rest of the 4th line on any given night) and most of the defence about 90% of the time.

"Maybe we should stop by the hospital on our way to the game and get these guys some heart transplants"

That is really what is comes down to. These players need to play consistent, and well from night to night.

If you think Iginla is under performing then basically every forward has except Tanguay. Bourque had a good start but for the past few weeks has been mediocre, don't see effort from him every night. Iggy has been are best player the last month and has almost returned to a PPG game player, don't know what else you are expecting from him. Other then that our centers are horrible, surprise surprise, and i don't even think all of them together have scored over 10 goals.

These next ten games are our chance to climb out of the basement in the western conference.

We face some very weak opponents over this span.

We must walk away from this 10 game stint with at least 7 or 8 wins IMO, as this is probably the easiest span of games we have all year.

Flames top three centres:

Jokinen 4-8-12
Stajan 1-15-16
Morrison 4-13-17

Total: 9-36-45

For comparison's sake, Phoenix's top three centres (both teams have 81 goals for, Phoenix in two less games)

Belanger: 4-10-14
Hanzal: 7-3-10
Fiddler: 3-4-7

Total: 14-17-31

Odd, not that great down the middle... What's the difference between 6th and 15th? 12 goals against.

Not to mention that Phoenix plays a much better defense first system, and all three of those centers are miles better defensively than our three.

Maybe the excess amount of forwards on our roster will help punish the slackers. Stajan has been invisible, so he can sit in the press box and think about what he's done (or hasn't done) for 60 mins.

Brett Sutter = Super Nanny.

Backlund's playing with Iggy? Finally, a logical move by Sutter?
