Richter filled up maybe 66% of the area the modern goalies do. Old school, standup athletic goaltender.

He didn't have to butterfly, because he had a little thing called reflexes.

Well said, my friend. You're 100% correct.

If we win a few, the 'playoff' topic comes up. If we lose 2 or so in a row, we need to fire Torts and tank.

We're such a bi-polar fanbase. No wonder why people hate us.

It's crazy how fast and limber he was.

The number one was of course the Penalty shot against Bure. I still breath a sigh of relief every time I see it.

Anyone catch Christensen's comments on Avery in the pregame?

Just paraphrasing, but when asked how the team scored all the goals in the 3rd period last night, he said something like "Something that people overlooked is the fight by Sean. I think it really energized the team." He was more descriptive obviously, but he pretty much gave all the credit for his goal to Avery lol.

Think he's trying to make up for his earlier comments regarding the Smid fight?

Idk for some reason I'm starting to think that Christensen's comments on the Avery/Smid thing was taken out of context.

I don't think there was ever a problem between EC and Avery and I think EC was just speaking the truth. The team suddenly found its offensive wheels and just pounded Pittsburgh after the Aves fight.

If the Rangers light up Labarbra, you think they pull him?

I so want LaBarbera to come down with a temporary, pain-free, debilitating illness so we can see Fenton in net. That is so cool.

Wow $23 bucks for parking at MSG? Do they wash it and change the oil? It would be cheaper to hire a homeless to circle the block while you’re at the game.

Yes, and I'm starting to think that happens a lot.

How about Ovie & Dubi "having words" as the period ended before their fight? "Gotta that beard back!" lol Yeah, dem's fightin' words!

I'd prefer the Rangers to score 5 goals on the first five shots on LaBarbera so that we can see Fenton in net.

There's always parking by the West Side Highway. I'll take the 5 block away instead of paying that kind of money for someone to park my car.

They would still keep LaBarbera in net if he gave up 10 goals in 10 shots.

Rangers should take the 5 minute penalty and just run Jason Labarbera early in the game.

I'm not actually advocating intentionally injuring a player, for the internet police/ government officials out there.
