Perhaps the Isles have had enough time to learn and absorb Cappy's system.

3-0...almost seems unreal.

We actually have a chance...despite Crappy's "system"

Goring just said "don't be afraid to win." Just like one of our former esteemed posters used to say "don't be afriad of success." LOL

DP isn't look that good.

On that close call, he was totally out of position if the pass was clean. Laying down on the ice is not in position.

The Isles hve to re sign MM. I read on fanhouse today that Botta had him as one of the guys that will probably draw interwst at the deadline. I would rather just re sign him.

Absolutely. he is on pace for 30 goals again. BTW, everthing is working today. They are even make more than one pass that connects. Every blind squirrel finds a nut eventually. They will go back to being **** the next game. Can't lose them all.

Still a LONG way to go in this one though.

Can anyone on this team take a shot that actually makes it on net. Every shot is like 9 miles wide of the net.

Martin knew he was in over his head with Parros, smart guy to get into a wrestling match right there.

I missed the entirety of the 1st period. Is the score indicative of the way the game has gone?

The Islanders were the better team in the 1st, but it wasn't absolute domination except for the minute and a half when they scored the three goals. That said, it looked more like an NHL game than most of the recent Isles attempts.

The Isles played a pretty good first period. They scored all 3 goals within 3 minutes.

They sucked less so far.
Scored 3 goals but have been very sloppy and brain cramps at times,
Have to see if they can hold up when the Ducks bring the heat in the 3rd.
