I don't see the problem.

Sign says no parking Saturday, he parked there, he got a ticket.

$100 bucks for the NHL to have a huge billboard sit on the street, I think its worth it.

Not nypd....it's traffic. Biggggg difference. where would you like this rig to go? In a parking garage? It's called professional courtesy, the man is trying to make a living.

Deserved a ticket....the laws the law man, you can't park there.

That being said, i was on 36th one time and a guy was selling ice cream out of his ice cream truck. cop gave him a ticket and didnt even stop him. Later in the day i came back and he had two tickets on the truck but was still there!

He would've had to sell a helluva a lotta ice cream to make up for that payday lol

Discretion is not in the vocab for the parking authority folks of NYC.

I wanna say "good, that's what they get for not giving us a winter classic!" but I truly can not stand the parking authority, they are just so full of themselves and think who they are. I dropped my 92 year old grandmother off at a corner so she can go into the bank and there was no parking (I was at a bus stop that's not very busy). As soon as she walked into the bank one of those *******s came and gave me a ticket. I told her that she saw me drop my grandmother off and she clearly can't walk very far because she looks every bit of 92 years old and that I'd be gone in a minute. She literally didn't make any contact with me and didn't say a word to me, just wrote the ticket. There were actually people in cars sitting at the light yelling at this lady because of how ridiculous it was. Then after she wrote the ticket I had a few choice words for her as well. I wanted to fight the ticket and make a big stink about it but my grandmother paid the ticket without me knowing before I could.

I soon found out that you're actually allowed to sit at a bus stop if you're dropping someone off\picking someone up. Really wish I was able to fight that ticket. And I really hope that ***** is unemployed.

i understand he wasnt supposed to park there and he warranted the ticket.. but NYC traffic cops in general are very very strict. that was half of the reason i made this thread. the other half was because it was funny.

****, that's messed up. I wouldn't want to fight the ticket, I'd want to fight the person that gave me the ticket at that moment. That's just rude and using some logic.
