Give Lehner the start. He's better than Leclaire and Elliott anyways.
I'm big on sticking up for Brust/Brodeur because it sickens me that everyone thinks Lehner should be handed the #3 role and the #1 position in Bingo. So, I am biased, but Lehner doesn't have the experience that Brodeur does. Brodeur won three straight in Ottawa, he had a fair season last year, and he would have 10-0 if not for getting hammered into a concussion. He faced a ton of shots down in Elmira, he's played his heart out, and Lehner has been unable to meet expectations.
This could also be a re-entry waiver issue - I'm not really sure how that works - but if it isn't a waiver issue then I would suggest it is because Brodeur is more qualified for the position. Again, I know I'm always sticking up for the "scrubs" but I honestly feel Brodeur is better suited.
