I Mss Zherdev Thread!

I dont care what anyone says, Slump no slump while he was here, He Led this team for most of the season when he was here, and WITH that slump he stll had 58 points, for a secondary scorer he was great! Most of us looked at him as our prime scorer thats where the hate came in!

Zherdev >>>>>>>>>>>>> Frolov

Everyday of the week and twice on a sunday

Zherdev's attitude would be a cancer for the way this team plays.

THANK YOU

Zherdev is a soft player who only plays on one end of the ice, who disappears for long stretches at a time, and who shows no willingness to bust his ass when things aren't going well. Good riddance.

Don't miss him at all. I would take Frolov over Zherdev because even when Frolov can't score for ****, he protects the puck in the offensive zone very well (which *gasp* is actually a very good form of defence: keep the puck away from the opponent).

I love having a team full of Prusts, Boyles, Fedotenkos, Averys, etc. instead of Zherdevs, even if the latter guys are more flashy and score more often.

I dont want to sound like i have anything against Frolov, but its not like he wasnt complaining about his ice time especially if he didnt deserve it. Even if it was to a Russian reporter.

i never wanted zherdev to leave. with that said, im not sure his style of play is what this Ranger team is going for. I dont think he would be a good fit here with this type of hockey. were not a particularly skilled team, we get by on hard work and sacrifice...thats not really his game. i dont think hes a lazy player (unlike most ppl here) but i dont think hes an aggressive player either. i think Frolov is actually a better fit believe it or not.

The only reason he's he seems to do well in Philly is because they have plenty of guys to pick up his slack. When he goes invisible, nobody notices as much because they have guys like Richards, Carter, Briere, Giroux, etc. that chip in.

**** him. Heartless piece of **** that quit on the team when they counted on him most. We'll see how much everyone here misses him when he does the same thing in Philly and he's run out of town there too.

If we hadnt played the flyers, and he hadnt scored twice nobody would we be missing him right now. His attitude and style of play would suck on this team. Hes not a team guy, he doesnt create his own chances but hes pretty damn good at finishing up, he doesnt backcheck and hes got no heart. He fits in in philly because their defense is solid and no defensive load is put on the wingers, especially him. He would not be good on this team and im glad hes not a part of it, simply put hes not a ranger and cant be one.

The way the Rangers play if someone isn't hustling there's a gap which leads to fast breaks. I don't know if Z would slack or not (I don't think he would) but that would be the reason why.

58 points on a team starved for offense. He's not a primary scorer and he was relied to be one on this team.

Jesus christ are you serious starting this thread right after that game! Unbelievable.

Brian Boyle has more goals and points than Z this year. Let that sink in. Not to mention he's playing on a line with Jeff Carter. Hmmm carter or prust?

The zherdev time is over, get over it....if you can't go root for the flyers.

NO selfish players on this ranger team

Anyone know why the spelling of his first name changed from "Nikolai" to "Nikolay"?

Actually, Zherdev has 13 goals while Boyle has 12.

And he's doing it in 12 minutes a game.
