Might be one tape to erase without watching.... Oh well. If they lose 1 of 6 from here on in, we'll be happy.

I'm an Indie music guy. I respect Classic Rock for it's accomplishments but I have no interest in any of it, outside of a few bands/artists

I enjoy some indie. Some band however, sound like they are trying way to hard.

No, but I don't mind them. I am a fan of The Talking Heads, Bob Dylan, Leonard Cohen, and a couple other older bands but not too many.

Its all a person's taste so no one is wrong for liking what they do. But I can't see how people listen to Indie music.

This is what we should play after the road trip

Well there is still good indie, and bad indie same as any genre. Some of it is utter trash, but a lot of people making indie music these days are geniuses.

A few of my favorite bands:

Idk if I'd classify Radiohead as Indie, but I have all the New Pornographers stuff on my iPod. Neko Case is the ****.

I saw the Arctic Monkeys, St. Vincent, My Bloody Valentine, Gogol Bordello, and Tool a couple years ago at the All Points West tour in Jersey City. It was pretty awesome considering I had never heard of any of those bands besides Tool (which is why I went.) Apparently I got really lucky because My Bloody Valentine never plays shows anymore. It was the loudest thing I've ever heard in my life.

Radiohead are one of the godfathers of indie rock, but guess they are usually called Alternative. I saw the new pornographers last summer in Toronto. Great Show.

I hope you weren't lumping Rush and AC/DC in with Classic Rock. That would be a travesty. They both suck.

I was lumping them, as I'm not sure what other genre they would be. Every genre has good and bad

Neko Case is amazing. I've seen her about 10 times, including the Lee's Palace show where parts of Tigers was recorded live, and the Rehearsal Hall set.
