All this game has proven is that we may or may not be making the playoffs this season.

Not even an OT point. Hawks were missing some important players.

Like the urgency in the last seconds of the game, especially from Doughty.

No it proves that Doughty needs to pull his head out of his ass.

Had some good momentum at the end but that penalty on Brown was horrendous, really hurt us.. Onto Colorado, who's been playing well of late, I saw Trevor Lewis on the first line for a little and he looked good, but then Murray went with Smyth there, I'm getting sick of his line juggling and of him

Kings failed on a PP and the season is lost. No reason to watch the rest of the season.

Sturm needs to man up and play on Tuesday. Good to get 2 games in before Christmas.

Brown is an idiot. Letting out his frustration with 2 minutes left in the offensive zone.

The goal right after Clifford scored killed us. Momentum was sucked away.

Crawford played great. Quick played solid.

Kings should have least gotten a point, but whatever.

And Terry Murray changes a line-up that had scored 15 goals in 3 games, and we lose. What a shock.

So predictable. About 20 seconds after I say this is about the time someone usually takes a penalty to end any chance of a comeback Brown is in the box. I thought it would be Doughty, Williams or Smyth, though.

Questionable call on the end.

As always Kings would start pretty good and then falls apart on the next period.

Simmonds, Clifford and Johnson continue to play solid hockey. Not sure WTF happened on that Pisani goal but looked like Doughty made a bad read.

What do we have to do to beat the Hawks? Human sacrifice?!?

Anyway, that was a good 3rd for the most part. I still don't get why the Kings seemed to be killing time with the pucks in the final ten seconds of the game.

Meh...Kings played ok, Hawks played ok. Refs called an ok game right until that BS call against Brown at the end. Come on, you didn't call much up to that point, why then? Just frustrating.

I thought we actually played well but just didn't get any breaks other than the Simmer goal.

Williams hits the post to start the game; Toews scores on a shot that was going way wide but deflected in off Doughty; Pisani scores on a broken 3-on-2 where a puck that wasn't intended for him just happens to end up on his stick.

Losing sucks but they played well.

Tough loss, but I think tonight was better than they've been in a while, in terms of both intensity and structure. Last night they had the intensity, but I felt they were still pretty loose. Tonight their breakout was better, their defensive zone coverage was better.

As has been the case all year, the Kings are a good team but they don't have a huge margin of error. A few mistakes are too much to overcome, as they were tonight.

We got lucky on the Simmonds goal, so it's not like we didn't get a lucky goal.

I still think Murray should have kept the line-up the same. Only change it if you're inserting a Top 6 player like Sturm. Richardson played well, but the lines last night just worked better. Oh well.

The Pisani goal was the one where Kopitar didn't backcheck hard enough. The pass to Doughty's man missed, went to the middle and Pisani beat Kopitar to the loose puck right in the slot.
