The most he'll do is rough it up a bit after the whistle but only if the Kings crash Anderson's crease or if your d-men start pushing and shoving to clear your own crease. You don't need to worry about not having your enforcer in the line up.
We worry about everything

The bottom line though Koci is going to look on the wall and see the Kings line-up and think to himself now he can do whatever he wants tonight and no one will come near him...rather than looking at the line-up knowing he has to answer to Westgarth.

Kings are also without Mitchell and Greene, two tough players. I know some teams don't have an enforcer and Kevin doesn't need to play, but when you're without your two toughest D man AND the other team is dressing there tough guy....bad news.

WILL he? I think so. He didn't seem to have an issue instigating with Bissonette.

SHOULD he? Probably not. Love the guts, but he's gonna get killed one of these days if he has to fight Westy's fights.

That being said, mountain, molehill, etc. Go Kings! Always an entertaining game with the Avs. I like them as much as I can like another western team...meaning I hope they suck until later tonight

Clifford is 6'2, 207. Koci is 6'6, 240. It's a mismatch a 19 year old shouldn't have to deal with.

Just win...I have a good feeling about tonight. Kings have had the Av's number lately but they're on a nice win streak. Colorado gives up a lot and scores a lot and the Kings have been better offensively lately so all signs point to an exciting game.

Exactly, Bissonette is 6'3" 220lbs and has always been known more as a light heavy....He fought Matt Bradley for Christ's sake.

This ain't the WWE...do some people not realize that they are actually fighting out there? 30 lbs. and years of experience is no joke.

I want to agree with you but I can't. If we were playing the Canucks it'd be different, as they are a tough TEAM who are constantly agitating. The Aves are not going to intimidate the Kings even with Koci in the lineup. He might keep a few of our guys from doing anything dirty but that's all.

I just don't think it's necessary to dress Westy to counter Koci. The only impact Koci may have is if he's able to goad Clifford into a fight (which won't take much) and proceeds to beat his ass. But Cliff needs to learn to choose his spots.

A 3-2 road trip sounds a hell of a lot better than 2-3.

This team needs some road wins. That road record is craptacular.

Thanks for the heads up! I've canceled my recording on my DVR. Can I get the Kings record for the rest of the year and how the do in the playoffs (assuming they make it) while you are at it?

Or were you referring to a video game you are currently playing?

The Kings are going to win the Stanley CUp this year. In June 2011, you'll look back and say "it all started 12/21 when the Kings dismantled the Avalanche". Believe it.

It has to do with the Av's being ridiculously hot, and that the Kings are 3-0-0 when I say that.

In regards to this Clifford/Koci/I've played hockey before/I have never played before thing going on.. I played Junior A up in Portland (not the NHL at all, and its actually one of the bottom Junior A leagues.. But its still competitive hockey..) and when I played against this certain Seattle team the intimidation factor came into effect EVERY time.

They had this guy Eric English who I think got invited to the SJ Sharks camp strictly for fighting alone and every time he was on the ice I knew where he was. And EVERY TIME this guy was in the line up the rest of team honestly acted like they were all 7'0 tall and 500 pounds.

HOWEVER.. In this Kyle Clifford case.. Yeah, he would fight Koci if Koci asked. Hell, he would probably even ask Koci and in my personal opinion I think Clifford would do perfectly fine. Whether or not he SHOULD be fighting Koci is a different story but I'm pretty confident he has a chance to win that tilt.

Let's score 12.

Here's some motivational footage from a former coach in the Kings organization:

Lol, Koci sucks so much as an enforcer that Clifford could probably beat him.

Also that is one insane GDT. Very impressed.
