Lou is stock pilling the Swedes in the past couple of drafts (Tedenby, Josefson, Urbom and possibly Larsson).

Tank 4 Larsson
Hopefully "Lou" is moving away from his "must only choose Americans" philosophy of the last half decade or so... how did that turn out???

Thornberg Lindberg Friberg (The "BERG" line) is quite a "small" line and could have trouble against Canada's BIG players especially if Canada throws a BIG line at them..

watch #22 Landeskog for Sweden, and #7 Couturier for Canada because Devils could be taking either of those guys as well.

How did they use Hamilton in yesterday's game? Also how do you think they will use him in the tournament.

Last night he was on the 1st PK and the 4th line. He'll probably stay there although I suppose there's an outside chance he could move up to the 3rd line if he starts scoring.

I´m pretty sure Thörnberg-Järnkrok-Fasth is one of the lines tonight.

Why don't you look up the number of Americans the Devils have selected in the first round over the last decade and see if your opinion passes the grade.

Lehner`s had a bit of a weird year, playing only 10 games (and he was pulled after 4 goals/2 periods in one of them).

He's had two notably bad games, his first of the year (7ga and .800, but it was against hershey so you have to remember that) and the rochester game in which he was pulled (4ga/.846 in 2 periods).

Other than that, he's been solid or better, posting a combined .938 in the other games, although he still only has a 3-4-1 record in those games because bingo isnt that good a team. He does have 2 SO, but they are both against syracuse, which is a very weak team this year.

With sweden arriving from travel, having equipment issues, and playing their first game on small ice, I expect Lehner will have to be unbelievable tonight in order to give sweden a chance. The good thing for sweden is that he's pretty hot so far in december and he shouldnt be rusty, having played 2 and 4 days ago.

Hopefully the Swedes don't embarrass themselves again and spend the entire game diving like a bunch of ballerinas.

Wasn't it two years ago when Canada-Sweden played in ACC in an exhibition game? That was so intense, and Tyrell got hurt too.

Looking forward to the match!!

21 Cody Eakin - 19 Ryan Johansen - 28 Brett Connolly
12 Quinton Howden - 11 Casey Cizikas - 25 Carter Ashton

Extra Forward:
16 Curtis Hamilton

Big gritty line.. Schenn had problems controlling the puck yesterday so he could go back to the basics.. and hit everyone
I like those line except i'd like to see Connolly on the 1st line with Schwartz- Couturier
Connolly is probably the most gifted scorer on the team, and he doesn't have nearly the all around game of Leblanc.
I think Leblanc could help the 3rd line more, and Connolly would cash in on the creativity and playmaking of the other 2 really well.

I also expect Hamilton to take Ashton's spot on the 4th- based on their play in the dub this year. Hamilton's a better skater and plays with a lot of intensity.
