I was actually one of the few people who didn't write him off. I feel a bit vindicated.

Good game all around. This division race is still pretty tight. Stars on top. Ducks up there but they've still played more games. Just keep it going forward to the next one.

EDIT: so the Ducks have played 6 more games than the Kings but the two teams are separated by 1 point. hmmmmm

Kopitar played like a first line center tonight, he needs to drive the net more, I think Richie is great for that first line, he adds the speed and back checking so we can send Kopi in for more power moves.

only caught 40 mins, but what I saw was terrific. Quick with an easy night. Kopitar with a very dominant showing.

BROWN continues to be a MONSTER. No idea why Murray separated him and Kopi two years ago. All season long been busting his *** out there, utilizing his best attributes skating through the neutral zone like a truck and driving hard to the net, and he's getting rewarded on the scoresheet.

Good road trip!

What happened to that whole group of posters that were adamant about Kopitar/Brown not being able to play together?

During the first 15 games where we went 12-3 we never looked near this good,we could now be seeing the beginning of the team we thought we had then.

And Martinez, Harrold and Drewiske were all in the lineup.

Execution plus intensity equals a blowout of a very good team in their building. That was a lot of fun to watch.

The Kings need to come out like this against the Oilers. It would be a pretty sight.

Dustin Brown is 34th in scoring. Um, that's a first line player.

This is why the Kings need to be patient with Moller, Loktionov, Hickey, Teubert...

it's a long list isn't it.

At some point I am sure a couple of prospects will be moved to get an impact forward, but damn this is a nice problem to have.

What a game!

Meanwhile... the Monarchs were down 4-0 at one point - they won in a shootout 5-4.

Knowing this team the'll come out flat with no energy and lose 2-1. Then armageddon again.

That's two games that I haven't watched that the Kings won by shutout.

Most solid 60 minutes this year. Didn't take many penalties (seriously, what a terrible dive by Wilson tonight), only 7 scoring chances against, our forwards were practically humming out there and Quick came up big the few times he needed to.

I really liked what our 4th line did out there. Sturm actually had a few chances and I like how he drives to the net. Lewis had the speed and Poni was the workhorse of the line.

Brownie was awesome tonight. He was a possessed man out there.

Williams is a pimp. I think that has to be his new name. He's on the scoring sheet every night and hits the cross bar/post a ton on top of all the points he's racking up.

The game was so good, I don't really have much more to say.

Just heard that Avs' defenseman Ryan Wilson is day to day with a lower labia injury.

I had to listen to the game on the radio, but it sounded like Brown opened a major league can of whup ass tonight.
