NIce to see Shannon get rewarded for his strong play. I haven't seen those "useless" comments in a while.

I wish Murray and Clouston had the balls to

Sit Kuba, and play Lee.

Kuba needs to sit, regardless of his past play, contract, or accomplishments in the NHL. He needs to sit. He`s been pretty bad, and I`m a supporter of his. He just needs to sit one game, so he gets the message.

This, but I'd ride Lee for awhile. We're a better team with him over Kuba. At least Lee can keep up with the play.

I agree,

but I doubt they even let Lee play more than one game lol. He played great against Minnesota and gets put back in the pressbox.

Lee from the limited time he played in the NHL season, has shown and played better than Kuba. And I don`t care how much anyone hates Lee, It would really be hard to argue that Kuba has played better than Lee this season. He looks out of shape and unfit, most likely because of his injury but still.

Injuries

-Matthew Lombardi, Concussion, Out
-David Legwand, Lower body, Out
-Steve Sullivan, Lower body, did play yesterday
-Pekka Rinne, arthroscopic left knee surgery, just started skating
-Patric Hornqvist, upper body, did play yesterday

These guys are either missing key players, or they're hurting but playing. Should be an Easy win

Rinne's back on the roster and could play tonight.

Even blind squirrels find nuts sometimes, good to see him playing well, but he will be back to useless in due time.

I don't get what's going on with Lee - do they even have a plan for the guy?

I guess the mentality is that his value has hit rock bottom so it doesn't matter how many times he is scratched. Why not waive him then?

I'm not a big fan of his but he looked OK that game he was in - wouldn't kill them to put him in for another.

It is true.

At some point every Senator has to rejoin his team on "earth".

Right. Play Lee to increase his trade value from nil to a 5th rounder and sit Kuba so his trade value doesn't keep decreasing. With Kuba in the pressbox, hopefully GMs will remember Kuba from a couple seasons ago instead of KUba right now if a trade was ever made.

Sens are my fav team in the eastern conference and I root for them any other time, but when it's against the Preds, well it's war

Rinne should be in net but yeah, we've been having a lot of injuries.

Here's to a good game, especially as it's the only game our teams will see each other this regular season.

Contain Erik Karlsson and you have yourself a win, even if you play like a junior team.
