Ugh, what I wouldn't give for a good offencive 3rd line centre, a la D. Moore.

If we're going to roll with 3 pairs of highly talented wingers in Hall/Eberle, Omark/MPS, Penner/Hemsky; than we're going to need a 3rd centre to complement them I have faith in Gagner and Horcoff in that they're not going to drag down their wingers, but the thought of Cogliano, Brule, O'Marra, or Fraser centring a scoring line is scary (case and point, see right now).

Go out see if we can get a 45 point, 2 way centre with a good FO%:

Penner-Horcoff-Hemsky
Hall-Gagner-Eberle
Omark-Moore-MPS
Jones-O'Marra-Stortini

So much better and more well rounded.

Paajarvi-Gagner-Hemsky
Hall-Horcoff-Eberle
Penner-Brule-Omark
Jacques-O'Marra-Jones

or

Paajarvi-Gagner-Hemsky
Hall-Penner-Eberle
Brule-Horcoff-Omark
Jacques-O'Marra-Jones

or switch Horcoff and Penner on my 2nd option

Omark-Reasoner-MPS <---what that could become
Jones-O'Marra-Stortini

Am I the only one who wants Omark sent back down?

Why?

So we can give JFJ/Stortini/Fraser more games to evaluate how much they truly suck?

Don't you think omark would benefit more by playing 18-20mins a night with lots of PP time in OKC as opposed to playing 12minutes with the big club?

I doubt the Oilers are going to trade for a support player but I like the idea of putting:

Penner Horcoff Hemsky together as our bonifide #1

and

Hall Gagner Eberle as Our #2

However;

Pajaarvi O'Marra Omark is a nice 3rd line

and

Cogliano Fraiser Jones #4 def line

Big Mac and Stortini or JFJ as 13-14 players

Sure there will better bottom 6 down the road, but for now I would enjoy watching them play this year.

i see it a different way.

He's already had enough time playing with second rate pros in the years prior, what i see is a player who is slowly adapting to the speed, bigger bodies and smarter checking.. He's no different then all of our young players so far, when they get it right, they look great, when they get it wrong, they look awful... Omark in my eyes has shown enough at this point to warrent a spot in the line up to keep progressing like the rest..

the only one at this point who scares me a little is Paajarvi, hes regresses a hair but not enough to hit the panic button just yet..

Actually no, the gap between AHL and NHL is simply to big. There isn't anything Omark can learn in AHL that would benefit him in NHL.

Sorry, regardless of who Fraser is playing with, OMarra has outplayed him. He has no place on this team IMO.

I really don't think Fraser has been all that bad.
He's mostly invisible, but I don't see that as a bad thing - at the very best it means he isn't making glaring mistakes...

Hemmer can't play tmrw with the Roster the way it is now right?? Someone on forward has to be placed on IR or sent down I think.

Listening to CHED today they were saying that Hemsky will be back tomorrow against Buffalo and that Horcoff went for a skate by himself today but he wasn't wearing pads.

Right here. I can't wait to see how the team looks with him coming back tomorrow! It might take a couple games for him to hit his stride though. Then again I heard he could have played against Vancouver already so maybe he'll be ready to take up from where he left off against Montreal.

Cant wait for Hemmer to be back! But I will be pissed if Omark is sent down. Is 5 points in 7 games not good enough?

Tambellini's ability to land a 3rd line center has been offensive.

I imagine Vandemeer will go on IR when Hemsky comes back. If not I would send down Frasier in a second, not that any of our guys would plucked off waivers anyway.

12 minutes if he's lucky, once we're healthy he'd be playing closer to 10 minutes IMO.

I would imagine Vandermeer is going on the IR for Petry. Who's going on the IR or being sent down for Hemsky is anyone's guess, but its probably going to be Omark, I would be stunned if it wasn't. Like I said, I don't think its the right call, but its a call I expect the Oilers to make.
