Swedish Winter classics Färjestad-Frölunda 26/12 2010
It's time for the 2nd SEL Winter classics.
Last year Frölunda won against Färjestad at Nya Ullevi in Gothenburg with 32.000 people in the stands. A new european record at the time.
Unlike the NHL winter classics, the SEL winter classics goes for quality instead of quantity. Instead of 50-70.000 people who doesn't see anything, 20.000 should se everything.
There for: special builded outdoor arena, transperent boards.
Frölunda is one of the richest clubs in Sweden together with Färjestad and HV71.
But they have been stuck with the worst GM in the league the last seasons, they are buying overrated NHL-failers like Joel Lundqvist and so on.
+ Their keeper, Johan Holmqvist(pretty successfull in NHL) hasn't been able to adjust his game to the big rinks. He's not good enough.
