Anyone getting more Easton SE16s?

Now that the Easton EQ50s are out and replacing the one piece SE16s that went down like $40 in price, anyone feel the need to stock up on SE16s?

I've used Easton for more than a decade now, and I feel the SE16s (lightest most balanced in its brand) are a steal right now at $150...

Anyone else using Easton agree?

Definitely good sticks, but they don't seem to be all that reliable (although from what I've seen, much better than S17/S19's). Either way, not gonna cough up $150 for a stick anymore

Considering the poor durability, it's not worth it, even at $139. Now at $99, I'd probably say sure, but over $100 is too much for a weak stick.

You missed out. Just sold my last one on ebay last week for $76 bucks.

Time to move on.

I thought the Reebok 10k was lighter than the SE16? Anyways, I had my eye on one but stupid car repair bills means I have to play with my backups for another month.

I got two on TotalHockey for $120 each. If easton had any sense they would be pumping the SE line way before the endlessly overrated and overpriced S19 (and formerly S17 for that matter) line. Great balance, great kick, and as reliable as any stick in this price range. But people are sheeple and will rather pay $250 for an S19 because it is 10 grams lighter, and has a round taper, and every NHL Easton is painted like an S19 even though none of them are. Oh well, more for me, got meself two SE16's for a basement price while people continue to flock to the S19 because Easton says so.
