The Lithium Edition: Thrashers @ Penguins

Tooday! At Consol Energy Center in Da Burgh.

Let's get back on track by stopping The Kid's streak.

Here's some happy things to think about during the lead into tonight's game....

Now just win it, boys!

Moar pictars!

(Note: Pics may take a little time to load, as my webhost is free, and thusly, slow.)

E. Kane, on going 1-on-3 into the offensive zone:

For our less-physical players:

Pavelec, stand on your head and be one of these:

Memo to Byfuglien: Remember this hit? You should do it like this instead:

And finally, a memo to everyone in Atlanta:

i think Bergfors and Eager are as good as gone as soon as Duds finds a taker and Cormier at least shows a pulse.

his numbers are pretty good considering how little he has played over the past year

It looks like re-signing Boulton in the offseason has turned out to be a pretty good move. Definitly been better then Eager this year IMO.

Cormier is on the practice ice wearing #45, as per C-Viv's tweet.

I was looking forward to watching this game. Now I'm wishing I could be there for it.

It's disappointing Bergfors isn't playing.

Yep - Burmi gets real scorers to play with. That's a good top six.

I'n interested to see how that one works and to see if Little can keep up his good play in the wing.

The Pens have a solid bottom 6, should be plenty of rough stuff all game long.

Burmistrov finally has some adequate linemates.

It's about time.

Makes you wonder if Little will ever get a pass while playing on a Kane/Burmi line.
