Guess it also means Hamonic is likely to stay for the duration.
Wisniewski is a middling player. Overrated by some upon his acquisition by NYI, this should not be viewed as more than a good depth move by the Habs. (I mean, really..."Great"?..."Win by a landslide"? You'd think the Habs just acquired Bobby Orr. )
On the bright side, Snow flipped a 3rd for a 2nd and a 5th...Other than that, I'm not psyched about that move, AT ALL. I wanted Weber or Desharnais. Only way that I'll be okay with that move, is if Snow makes other move using those assets (getting a forward).
Either way, the Isles have 10 d-men under contract, so get some assets by trading 1-2 of them, and get Tavares a winger.
Didn't the isles want to be competitive for the rest of the season? Why trade probably their best dman?
hes not our best dman but ****. its good asset management considering that they turned a 3rd into a 2nd and conditional 5th but this blows as a hockey move. i wanted to see wisniewski signed on for a few years
