I would give him a B+

Moore trade was good, scored some big goals for us and was a great team player

Found a great replacement in Halpern

Problem with the Halak trade is everyone just expected too much from the start, Eller is looking better and better and I'm sure it will turn out to be a good trade

SK Can't believe he found a team that wanted him, we all knew we weren't winning that trade with SK attitude

Last night's trade was very good, I was sure to get Wiz we would have had to include a roster player or prospect with that pick so a pretty good job by PG

Now get us a power forward and top 6 guy please

I think that he has done a great job. He has been a busy man but the team is on the right path. They are just not scoring right now. The only trade that I am not happy with when he traded up to get Tinordi and Visentin got drafted where our pick originally was. While I say that though I would rather have a GM who has the guts to pay a price to move up and pick a guy he likes as opposed to wait to see if the player that you like falls down to you.

Too early to judge.

C+/B-

What I dislike:
Although I like Eller and he could be a stud, I still don't like the trade for the simple fact that we needed a top 6 winger and got a centerman instead. A position we're loaded at.

I do wish we addressed the top 6 situation in the offseason with maybe a 3rd liner who could play in the top 6 if needed (ie: Raffi Tores). The Zherdev signing pissed me off, but there's no way of k,nowing if he would have signed here. Or even resigning Moore would have been a good idea.

The Boyd trade/signing seemed OK, but wasn't a good fit.

Didn't want to see O'Byrne traded, but that was more JM's fault.

I don't like the Piccard signing, would rather have had a farm guy take his spot.

What I like:
I liked the Moore trade
I like the Wiz trade
Getting rid of Halak was probably the right move
Halpern signing was good

You should list the picks as just picks, there is no way of knowing who we would ahve picked there.

Agreed. I was wondering when the hell Mark Visentin was ever a part of this organization.

He bought out Laraque but wasn't it Gainey who told him to stay home?

He got us a few well regarded prospects and I like that. its hard to say but I hope JW will be a good fit and help this team out. Subban and Weber should be playing bottom paring minutes to acclimate to the nhl. for a good year like eller is doing. Get them ready and not putting to much pressure on them. Next year should be interesting since I'm wondering is brendan Nash will make the team.

B+/A-

Slowly enhancing this team, slowly adding more size to the lineup as well.

I'm very happy

A conference final finish and spending the first 3 months of the season in 2nd-3rd in the East isn't enough of an improvement for you?

Oh nittany, so predictable.

Finished season in 8th, currently in 8th.

50% (arguably could be higher) of the reason we went to conference finals traded for a player who hardly plays.

He's a lot smarter than I initially thought. He didn't just dodge a bullet with the Halak deal, he new what he was doing. I wasn't a fan of the return, though. Most of the other moves I liked. B+

I am going to give him the benefit of the doubt. He has made smart moves that may pay off. I think his hands have been tied by ****** contracts given out by the last clown.

I like his trades, aquisitions and the people he let walk/traded but he hasn't brought in an impact player which is why he doesn't deserve an A yet

The Palushaj trade wasn't Gauthier.

And the guys he drafted in 2010 should be in a diferant category. Not saying he did a bad job, i'd give him a B, considering he made simple witty moves and made a good trade out of Halak.

A+ so far. I have to eat my hat about the Halak trade.

The Halak deal is working out. Eller looks awesome to me at this stage of his development. Gonna be a good one for many years. And Price has really stepped up like they thought he would.

The Plekanec deal was a good one too.

I like the types of players he's bringing in. More grit and feistiness to go with the skill/speed/2-way play we've been trying for YEARS. About time.

The rest of the moves are minor and have all made sense to me.

I'd like to see him be aggressive and sign Markov longterm now in good faith for a slightly cheaper salary.

I'd also like to see him package AKost for something. Can't stand that guy.

B+ for not doing anything really dumb and showing good patience.

Like the Eller trade and resigning Plekanecs.
