Yeah...not much resale value on blue jackets tickets right now.

Going to the Wings/Jackets game on Tuesday and I have a few questions.

I'm a Wings fan. Am I gonna get jumped for wearing a Detroit jersey?

Which is better? R Bar or 343 Front Street?

What does a beer go for in the arena?

Where's the best/cheapest/closest place to park?

Thanks, all who reply!

Perhaps by another Wings fan as you'll outnumber us.

no opinion

24oz. cans $9

I always park on the street. 3rd Street between Chestnut and Hickory. Metered spots are free after 6pm. It's about an 8 minute walk (safe) and even with walking you'll be on your way quicker than any of the garages right next to the arena.

Actually LL is in the mezzanine area, which is above the enitre first section of the lower bowl. LL is 33 rows from the ice, so his sightlines will be high through the net, which is not bad.

This area is my least favorite seating in the arena. If the price was right though, good on him.

Only potential issue on the seats is that it may be high enough up that it is difficult to see the scoreboard. You are right under the upper bowl and the overhang can block your sight to the screen.

Have you tried stubhub or ticketexchange? There are plenty of tix available. For games not in my season tix plan, I never pay more then 15 -20 bucks for lower bowl, no more then 10 for upper bowl.

Yeah, haven't found anything lower, not in the endzone, for under $35 each. I keep looking, though!

Tix on stubhub have a declining price option, on game day, the price declines. I usually wait to buy tix at 2 pm on game day. Also, for the Red Wings game last week, I got 2 lower bowl seats for $10 each. The seats were 8 rows above Red Wings bench.

I sat five rows behind the Jackets bench, last time, and I much prefer my regular seats in the corner, 19 rows up. If it's the net you're worried about, it becomes invisible soon after you sit down.

Ugh...another Tuesday night game....six in seven weeks is brutal. Yet, we only get 7 Saturday night games all year vs. 13 Tuesday nights.

How's that "avoid Saturday's due to OSU FB/BB" working out Priest?

Attendance:

Tuesday's: 13,432
Saturday's: 17,218

This years home schedule has been the worst I can remember. And for people with 20 game plans tha game splits have sucked.

Tuesdays are especially hard on me. I live 7 miles from the Indiana border. I get home at 11:45 pm, and I'm up by 5 am to go to work the next day.

It's not my view of the game I'm concerned about, it's my plastic rat that needs a clean shot towards the ice!

So, you're saying I can wait until game day, find a cheap lower, print out an e-ticket, and get it that way?

I hope you forgot the sarcasm icon. Throwing stuff on the ice isn't cool. We are classier than Detroit fans. There are better ways. Don't interrupt the game with that kinda crap.

Classier or just don't have any tradition to warrant the throwing of something on the ice? I don't remember class coming into factor when game 4 was interrupted.

That's how I do it for games not in my plan.

Let's give the guy the benefit of the doubt here. I'm sure he was joking. They did that, what, one year? in the 90s? Yeah. He was joking.
