Is it a season ticket holder deal or something else? I'd definitely be interested but I'm sure others have spoken up prior to me.

Not sure if this is a seperate thing...probably is because it has tickets, but there's a public open house at NWA on 7/18 from 6-9 with JMFJ and Foligno signing autographs.

Interesting. I hadn't seen that unless I haven't read my team emails close enough. Is it another select a seat event trying to drum up new ticket holders?

Yeah. It was kind of hidden in a recent email about Development Camp. Third item down or so, and yeah, it's a select-a-seat event as well.

whoever wants it would need to message me. Since I can not attend i would have to call and leave the passes with you. i dont think anyone wants to put their name on the message forum so I would need to know who I should leave them with.

The third annual CannonFest fan gathering of CBJ fans (August 19th, 1-4PM) is ramping up, and your friendly volunteer event organizers are holding a logo design contest.

Please feel free to swing on by and vote for your favorite logos here.

All in fun, just like the event itself!

I'm stuffing the box now. The BW3 gift card isn't half as enticing as this!

Voted for my picks. Can't get here soon enough! Thanks again, DBJ, for your part of the work in getting this event organized.

How old are you? What interests do you have? Anybody else going to be with you?

That will help us tailor our answers.

Depending on where in Ontario you are headed, it really doesn't matter from Columbus one way or the other whether you go through Buffalo or Detroit. I ran both combos through on-line routing software and from my house in Columbus to Parry Sound Ontario, the difference was less than 20 minutes and the mileage was practically the same.

2 of us in mid-late teens, 2 parents. Looking for whatever really. Mileage isn't an issue but Columbus is one the bigger cities close but not on the way so just wondering if there is something to go see or if we should not bother going

We've had a top zoo in the nation for years now, good stuff. Come back in 2014 when the African Safari opens

Great zoo, very good science museum (COSI), a couple of decent urban neighborhoods for walking around in and grabbing a bite to eat (Short North and German Village), a very popular mall (Easton Town Center) and what trip would be complete without a trip to the Jackets team store at Nationwide so you can grab some gear and represent.

There's also a big water park attached, along with a nice golf course. In fact, if it's golfing you want, Columbus has many great courses (one of the reasons our team misses the playoffs every year - the links are too nice to waste time playing postseason hockey!).

You can also find a very nice art museum, great conservatory, and historic statehouse. Not to mention one of the largest universities in America, with all that goes along with it! Oh, and to top it off, the best ice cream in the country, as voted by USAToday: Jeni's!

Well worth the diversion in your route.

Assuming you're serious THE Ohio State University

That's the way football players say what college they are from on pre-game introductions.

That's because that's the actual name of the university.
