Need help with media guides/ year books. Looking for 2000-01 2001-02 and 2002-03. If nothing else a few select scans would be nice, but I would like to try to obtain the books themselves. Thanks.

Also looking for JHM patches bought from the blue line. Thanks.

Sabres fan here. Me and 3 friends are road-tripping down for the last game of the season on the 9th. Don't worry, we're under 21 and won't the rowdy annoying away fans. But my question is, does anyone know if the away team players can be found anywhere after the game for autographs?

At home in Buffalo, you can wait at a certain gate of the Arena out back and a majority of the players will stop and sign stuff, is there something similar in Columbus?

Thanks!

Have 4 tickets in section C5 for the home closer, 4/9/2011, against the Sabres, and also my 2 tickets in C5 that I won't be able to attend now due to having to go out of town. Face value is $100 each, willing to discount tickets and split up in pairs to move them and make some of my $$$ back. PM me with offer.

***EDIT***

My 2 seats have been sold... I still have the 4 together. C5, row G, seats 1-4 on the end of the row. Still willing to split them up into pairs, PM with offer.

Only if you are short...

My dad has 2 in row B in 206 and its not too bad. When he switched them he told me that the closer you get to the aisle, the big piece of glass gets in the way of the view down the ice. I've sat in Row B around the corners a few times over the seasons and I've never had an issue other than that.

Coming for the invasion on Saturday.

Hey, I am coming down from Buffalo for the game. I was just curious where the best place to meet some of our players or even some Jackets after the game? Thank you!

Not sure any of us are in any sort of mood for yet another "invasion" but THE Hockey bar in town would be The Plugged Nickle.

Ok sorry Im just joking. DO NOT go to The Plugged Nickle. The hockey bar is Rbar, it's really close to the Arena.

The last time I went to a Jackets game with the Sabres in town, I found the Buffalo fans to be the most obnoxious, rude, arrogant, ignorant, and classless fans I've ever witnessed at a sporting event.

Nothing was better than the relentless chants from 30 drunk college age kids of "You're in last place!"
Then as we took the lead and later won the game, I respond with my own "We're in last place!" and they were too drunk to get the joke was on them for getting beat down by a last place team.

Oh yeah, so, find it yourself.

Okay, thanks. After our games we can go behind the arena and get some autographs from both teams as they leave. Is there anything like this? Also, sorry for the invasion, from what I hear the number will be in the thousands for Sabre fans.

I don't like it, but I don't mind your money.

I suppose the true test will be how many of your fans can act like civilized people. buffalo fans have sort of a reputation of being asshats.

Present company excluded, of course.

I, too, am a Sabres fan who comes in peace.

I will also be attending the game on Saturday, and any information where we could meet the players would be great.

I and sabres19892 are part of the rare breed of Sabres fans with decency.

After the game the players will be giving away their jerseys to fans. I just know that some Buffalo fans are going to take some (despite not even liking the Jackets).

I'm hoping that the arena people have figured out a way to make sure only CBJ fans get CBJ jerseys.

I haven't cared too much about the last couple of games since we've been eliminated, but I hope the Jackets win, and win big over the Sabres. I'll be rooting for us as if it was a critical game. I hated seeing the Jacket fans outnumbered vs Pitt and Chicago.
Buffalo hasn't clinched yet so it'd be pretty sweet if the CBJ can keep them out

Thousands of Sabres fans?

I was probably going to go to the game until I read that. Last time I was at a CBJ/Sabres game in Columbus a couple Sabres fans tried to pick up the girl I was with. They failed miserably, but did manage to annoy both of us all game with their lame pickup lines and failed attempts to get her to leave to go to their hotel room.

I hope the Sabres go winless forever for that. Even though they went home alone and I didn't. Take that!

I'll give any Sabres fan the benefit of the doubt til he/she actually does something asinine. I went to Buffalo with some friends for a Jackets game earlier this season and had a great time. The Sabres fans that sat around us were very friendly, and even though they beat us 5-0 no one ever heckled us for the team's poor performance.

As for pregame, R-Bar is definitely the place to be (it will be PACKED, so get there early).
As for meeting players, maybe best bet is to hang out in the lobby of the Holiday Inn Crowne Plaza, which is where the visiting teams usually stay.

Have fun on Saturday, but I hope your team loses!
