+ MAF during the game
+ Some shifts by the Buzzers
- Everybody else
-- Evgeni "Scarecrow" Malkin. I'm sick of his no look passes and puck hogging.

I wonder how many people will give Malkin a minus mainly for his overtime "selfishness"

Which reminds me...

------ The overtime powerplay. 4 on 3 and we don't move the puck... AT ALL! God damn.

Uhhh...make me #1. I don't usually post here, but the fact the either Geno has no clue or had no sense of the historical nature of the streak, but the streak was much more important for many reasons than winning a regular season game against a crap team. Just disgusted.

I'm sure this is not what you guys want to hear, but I've had a bit of a soft spot for your team since 24/7 has been on.

Just wanted to say how ridiculous Crosby's streak was. When we had Schremp and Comeau on the ice against Crosby in OT, I thought for sure the ****ing game was over. Anyways, it seemed a little bit like guys were trying to get Crosby the puck by the 3rd. It might be better for your team that the point streak is over. You'll probably win the Classic and then run off another 10 wins.

Not to mention, if we were on the 2nd game of a back-to-back and you were fresh, I'm pretty sure this game looks more like the game we had against the Rags in a similar situation. This was the least sloppy game we've played in a week.

Mitch

I've never been more mad at a PPG player.

Malkin just gets points so quietly when he sucks. But its frustrating because he can be so much better.

Who the hell is the idiot wearing the Malkin jersey out there? It's like he disappeared after winning the Conn Smythe and we've had this complete and utter imposter out there for the past 2+ years.

Malkin's play doesn't strike fear into anyone right now, and he's a generational talent. As soon as he got paid, he started playing lazy.

**** me.

You know what.. no.

The streak WAS NOT more important than winning this game. That's lunacy. If anything ... everyone was trying to force the puck to Sid late in the game instead of making the smart play at times.

I wanted to see Sid keep the streak too, but trust me, and I know Sid feels the same way... team over individual.

Hopefully now this team can stop focusing so much on the streak and start playing 60 minutes of hockey again.

- The players or the coaching or whoever still can't figure out how to combat a team that traps. It's silly. It's still an Achilles heel against this team. DUMP THE PUCK AND GO AFTER IT!!!!!!!!! .... but no this team tries to skate through four people at the blueline.

Utterly frustrating.

On another note, Sid didn't look like himself in the third or OT, and didn't really do anything on his SO attempt.

His skating looked a bit labored and he didn't really have the usual Sid burst of speed. Wondering if he tweaked something.

the fact that Crosby yelled at Malkin is utterly disgusting and poor display of leadership, isn't winning the game more important to the team than a point streak ?

I was focusing on the 4 on 3 specifically in overtime. Geno needs to get him the puck not only for the streak but because he is the guy on fire. Geno can't hit the broad side of a barn at this point. Get it to the guy who can and take your chances. Ridiculous.

Are you sure that he was yelling at Geno for not giving the puck to him? I doubt it

+ The third line kept the team in this game

- Matt Moulson in an Isles jersey instead of playing alongside Sid and Kunitz.

Geno's been scoring at a pretty good pace minus the past game or two. His one time has been very good since he came back from injury.

That whole PP was just one big mess. No one on the ice had the faintest idea of what they were trying to do. Just one big fail.

I've started referring to him as Future Penguin Matt Moulson.

Missed the game tonight. Sounds like I was lucky.
