Score a goal when need and get sent right back now. Id at least give him another game or 2 to see if he can score some more before making a decision to send him back or not.

I'd bet it was driving Tippett nuts to have that many guys under 23 in the lineup at the same time.

Thanks for your one game and one game winning goal Brett.

I thought they would at least give him another few games to properly assess his level of development. A missed opportunity. I'm not surprised mind you but it's really irritating me about Tipps and GMDM's lack of vision. We play like s...t for a month and as soon as something good happens they can't wait to kill the moment. The SA line brought some energy to a ponderous, no energy, undisciplined, lifeless team. I'm quite pissed about it. I'll be even more pissed if they play a low energy lifeless game tonite and lose.

That's a real shame. I really enjoyed watching the puppies play together, all that energy was infectious

Pyatt is out with a brain injury. Give him a few extra games to recover. Why not?

Vrbata, Pyatt, and Hanzal are all coming back soon. Someone had to be sent down.

MacLean earned himself another game. This was a dumb move.

Vrbata and Pyatt will be gone next year anyway (hopefully). Let them sit. This freaking blows.

This was the first move that legitimately made me angry.

This is one thing that pisses me off about Tippet,he always sends the young kids out of the lineup.I can't understand why he would get rid of a player who gives a much needed spark, to bring in a fourth liner with stone hands in Pyatt. Not even Gretzky would break up a line when they bring the energy(Boedker-Turris-Maclean). Tippet relies on too many vets that are slowing down, they need a few young pups like Boedker,Maclean to bring the speed and skill. I also think Maloney needs to step in a bit.

The simple truth of the matter is who sits for MacLean to stay in the lineup? If it wasn't Hanzal or Vrbata but someone like Pyatt then it might be more of a questionable move -- it was a numbers game.

Why is everyone mad that he got sent down? He sucks. .. yeah he got a goal the other night but it was jsut a rebound goal if i remember correctly. He's way too slow.

This is exactly why MacLean was sent down. The Coyotes were one player over the limit with Pyatt, Vrbata AND Hanzal returning to the lineup. Something had to give.

Did you even watch the Kings game? The line he was on was exploding with energy and chemistry.

Oh, I hadn't thought of that. I guess the team's hands were tied, then.

Ah, well. Still would've been nice to have more than one game to go on in terms of figuring out what MacLean's got.

Dolemite is right. We had to send someone down. It just had to happen. Boedker has been playing solid for several games straight that he played. I'm not shocked MacLean had to go back down.

If there are moves made that clears a spot for him, I expect him to be back.

I don't buy it. All 3 players did not have to be put back in the lineup all at once.
Why would they anyway - have 3 guys that are rusty go back in all at once - give me a break!!
Just a very bad decision after a game where we were feeling good about ourselves.
