He's +7 on the season, 19 points (4G, 15A) in 40 games... Which would put him on pace for 30 points in a 65 game season if he didn't miss time due to injury... He put up 25 points in 65 games last season.

Since his injury he's been producing at close to or at a PPG pace though. It's gotta be something like 10 points in 12 games.

Awesome news regardless.

I could say he played the 3rd worst offense and tied for worst road team in the league in Lethbridge. I could say the Mcilrath QB'd PP went 1 for 13 I could bring up he took 3 minor penalties(hooking, tripping, high sticking).

But hey, all in all I'll take the numbers, nothing wrong with them unless you expect more.

I think thats the pace he got to get up too, or never mind the stats, but play at a level that usually generates those kind of numbers.

I wanna see him close to a PPG next season.

Meh unimpressive.

Lethbridge leads the league in giving up assists to right handed D men over 6'4". They are also historically bad on Wednesday night games. It should also be noted that teams from Alberta play poorer against Saskatchewan teams during the month January in light precipitation.

Page me when he does something of note.

We drafted McI to be a punishing, shutdown D man but I never hear anyone talk about his D plays (or mistakes) or big hits. Is anyone actually watching him?

Also brendan Shinnimin is scoring at a ridiculous pace. What's his game like? He had a huge suspension off a terrible play early in the year yet he's still outscoring CT who we're so hyped about. How come he's not the property of any teams right now?

He's outscoring him because he's an overager. I don't put much stock into his numbers.

Oh boohoo .... There were 32 infractions and 104 penalty minutes handed out... Let's get our panties in a bunch over 3 minors he took in a rough game where his team won 4-0.... I bet you give him credit for games played without taking any penalties right? Nah, you just find ways to put him down even when he has a good showing....

Well, he had outstanding numbers last year, too. I know nothing about him, just sayin'.

Andrew Yogan has resumed skating. He's back lifting weights and shooting. He should be back within the next month, if all goes according to plan.

A lot happends at that age in terms of developing et c.

I can not see him, nor many other D's, score like 65 pts in 65 games, unless they are on a rockin PP. (I really should have written "closer to a PPG" then "Close to a PPG", thats what i ment)

But, if we expect more out of McI then like a future 6-7th D, then he got to get to a level were he is a man among boys pretty soon, can log up to 30 minutes in the OHL and while not being a offensivly skilled player, just gets it done with his slapper and ability to just play at a notch higher then everyone else. Then like the difference between 35 pts and 55 pts in 65 games can all be a result from the environemnt around him. Especially in juniorhockey were the best PP's sometimes reaches like up to 35-40%.

Yea I know that he was an overager but he's still scoring at a ridiculous pace so i was wondering what his game was like and since he apparently has some iota of talent how come no teams have gobbled him up? I don't expect anyone to know it's hard to watch our prospects let alone tourny invites.
