Leafs @ Senators - May the worse team lose - 5-1 loss

*******In case you missed it, the WC has been postponed to 8. This will effect the broadcast of this game. CBC will broadcast it regionally after the WC starts.*******

13-19-4 @ 16-18-5

The "Battle" of Ontario

Above you see the best ring that either team will possess this season. They cost $250 online and have 14 carat gold in them. I'm not going to bother with stats here because they are too depressing on each side. Seriously. Are these really NHL teams?

Two teams with a serious Jekyll and Hyde complex.

I'd really rather watch those other two teams skate around in the rain, but I know I'll be watching this game for all the wrong reasons.

Go Sens

So Alfredsson will be Fisher's left and right winger? Impressive.

The worse we get, we can start to dream about Landeskog / top 5 pick for next year.

The Leafs are f*ed, probably handing Ryan Murphy to the Bruins.

Actually, I'm not worried if the B's draft before us, as they need a PMD badly, while we need a forward. And the Oilers need Centres badly, so they'll grab Nugent Hopkins with the 3rd pick most likely.

So if we pick 5th, we probably get Landeskog / Alfie II.

The bright side of Spezza's injury causing us to suck for 20 games.

Of course, Murray will probably trade some picks for the next Campoli / Comrie to drop our pick to 10th. If he tries to make that type of trade, hopefully Melnyk fires him on the spot (unlikely).

CBC.ca indicates that they're planning on showing the Sens/Leafs at 7 pm. So at very least it will be on the cbc.ca site for streaming, and I wouldn't be surprised if it were regional game for Ontario.

Well, if they are going with two Alfies, give 2nd Alfie the "A".

a loss tonight followed by several days off could very well bring a coaching change. if you're going to do it this is the time to do it.

That's such BS
Lee should get the playing time he deserves, and even I see that. I've been really critical of him throughout his career for not being Anze Kopitar .

After last night's game, it's anyone's guess as to what the lines will look like.

I say it should be:

Regin-Fisher-Alfie
Foligno-Winchester-Neil
MM-Kelly-Shannon
Smith-O'Brien-Kovy

Hockey town you mad at Smith Obrian

If this comes to happen poor Smith and O brian.Last night I was so so tired of watching Michelik and Kovy stand around and reach and reach move your ****ING FEET.What is it with these guys one shift they dont look bad then there horse **** for 10 shifts. When they put Kovy out on 4on4 I said CC will lose this game with Kovy at his side and bingo wish I could pick lotto tics that good.As a old worn out Coach I always told myself go with what got ya there Kovy had nothing to do with the team being there. And P Regin love the guy but he is struggling why put him out.You cant wish someone to have a good game or a change of heart, and you cant wish your job back CC.
