No where, no one is willing to take a chance losing him on waivers.

I'd be shocked if he plays in the NHL this season.

I highly doubt Poulin is coming up now. Most Isles fans are happy that there won't be a 3 goalie logjam in Bridgeport since Lawson will be up. Poulin and Koskinen can both get more work now.

DiPietro's fragility is always the number one concern though. You could very well see Poulin or Koskinen up if The Rick's bionic knees and hips give him trouble.

Really doesn't matter as the Islanders are not making the playoffs this year. I would like Poulin spends the rest of the season at the Bridge with a couple of starts in the Islanders.

Weak trade on Islanders part IMO

Never been a fan of Wishart ,, A 2nd round pick would have been better value

Very true because both goalies we are talking about have played for our favorite teams.... and I don't think either of us would back down.

Whats going on with Wishart? Awesome the Lightning get some short term stability in goal though.

Good for Roloson. Here's to a playoff run for Tampa.

Even that hypocrite Stamkos.

This may very well be the last trade Tampa makes this season unless they unload some players at the draft.

I'd say Wishart has a similar value to a late 2nd which is what ours would be. Probably better for the Isles since Wishart can help out now where a 2nd round pick is still atleast several years away.

I'd rather have a guy who's close to NHL-ready than a 2nd round pick. The Islanders have nobody and I mean nobody on defense that's as big as Wishart. He's a good guy to add to the Island.

Roloson deserved to be traded for his hardwork and persistence through the crap he had to go through here. He's a great teammate and a really hard worker, and will make the Lightning Stanley Cup contenders.

Good trade both ways.

?

Tampa finished last season with 80 points, right now they are on pace for 107 points and he just filled the one hole they had, well and maybe some stronger D in the 5/6 spots.

He's injury prone and been on 3 teams already. His value isn't much higher than Lashoff or Danny Richmond

Than why is it a weak trade.

Also, the only way I see this trade being done from an islanders point of view is if the lightning no longer consider Wishart a good nhl prospect. seems like a reclamation type project to me.

im super happy for roloson, tampa is now a favorite for the cup for sure and im now rooting for them big time. roloson is the man! and it seems like the isles got decent value here.

not koskinen, lawson. this is good because then koskinen and poulin can split time in the ahl instead of having a three headed monster.

Yeah I meant weak on Islanders part

I dont see Wishart as much ,,,,, Could be a NHL #6/7 if things fall right for him

very good move by yzerman. too bad he did not do this a few days ago.

DRW commentators during the game vs NYI were saying this would be a good idea and could happen.

i wonder if they had some inside information.
