Who would you take out of these guys?

I was looking at the TSN top 50 on the prospects board and looked at picks 14-20 (Allowing for some Slippage) Provided they have the order correct I go with Alexander Radulov. I was very tempted to go with Robbie Schemph, but I have read too much about his attitude so I stayed away.

Here is who they had at 14-20 who would you pick?

14.Travis Zajac C (Salmon Arm BCHL)
53gp 43G 69A 112P

15.Robbie Schemph-C (London Knights OHL)
63gp 30g 45a 75p

16.Lauri Korpikoski LW (TPs Turku)
36gp 12g 8a 20p

17. Alexandre Picard LW (Lewiston QMJHL)
69gp 39G 41A 80P

18. Alexander Radulov RW (Dynamo Moscow)
1GP og oa op (That is the stats they had listed could be a typo, I dont recall seeing that in the THN draft issue )

19. Kyle Chipchura C (Prince Albert WHL)
64gp 15g 33a 48p

20. Andrej Mezaros D (Dukla Trencin)
44gp 3g 3a 6p

I think it's a moot point as Schremp won't fall past 15 and will probably be top 10. Out of the remainder I'm still enamored of Korpikoski as I continue to read really good things about him. Not only his skill but his work ethic and character.

This really isn't even close... Rob Schremp by a landslide.

After him, Picard and then Mezsaros or Radulov.

The comments about his cheracter and walking away from his team in the OHL (Missisauga I think) dont give you some pause about the kid.

I might actually be inclined to take Mezsaros if he is still on the board when the Blues pick, regardless of who remains. Almost everyone has this guy pegged as a top 3 dman.

After looking into it a little, I felt that it was blown out of proportion and I think that largly is because he's an American. The guy simply asked to be traded because he wasn't happy with ownership. The same thing happened with a guy that most of us St Louisans are familiar with in Scott Rolen. Needless to say, Scott Rolen isn't a cancer.

I chose schremp also. You cant buy into hype without hearing both sides of the story. I read schremps comments on the whole deal, And i think he is a good kid.

Out of all the guys on that list, I'd take Schremp if he were available.

But I doubt he will be.

I'm sticking with Korpikoski, with David Bolland as my fallback position if Korpikoski goes top ten as Red Line predicts.

B.
