Blues signed Dennis Wideman?

Found it on the free agent/trade rumors board, and posted it over @ the old sanitarium (STLTODAY site, for those who don't know). Trying to ascertain validity of it now. Any with input please add, he sounds pretty decent. Right D, hardest shot in OHL 2 yrs. ago, puts up a bunch of points, 6' 200. Who knows?

Keep in mind that he was an overager last season in the OHL. I think we will see more from him this year, or at least 210 will.

My best guess is that Pollock is gone and they wont resign him.

Exactly, so I would think that they are letting him go.. When he signed the contract, IMO, it was to push the Blues to sign him to a deal that would "give" the team incentive to play him next year - ie. 1 way deal.
