I have been stateside for new years but it i great to see the Flames winning. Isles should be an easy win but we still can't take them lightly.

Go Flames!

It would make sense to have Karlsson start this one.

Start HK please coach, we need Kipper to steal either the Nucks or Wings game.

Haven't the Isles beat us once already this year? Lets not let it happen again.

We haven't played the Isles... maybe you're thinking of the Rangers?

Go flames! No reason we shouldn't win this one. Flames 4-2. Kipper gets an empty netter. Book it.

I'm sure the Kung-Fu Karlsson will start, dude's been nothing but solid (with the exception of 1 game) the only way we lose this is if we beat ourselves.

GO FLAMES!!!!!!!!

The Isles have been playing some really good hockey as of late, so this won't be a gimme game.

However Roloson had been standing on his head, so facing Lawson or DP will make it a bit easier for the Flames, unless they chain DP to the post.

Lets go boys!

Flames take this one 4-2 to extend our streak to 5 games. Iggy gets two while Tangs gets 3 assists. Bourque busts out of is slump with a two point night.

Get it done!!!

Glad to see HK is getting back in net. It's nice to not to have to cringe when I hear the backup is playing.

Hopefully Frans Nielsen's line won't have as much success shadowing Iggy as he did with Crosby to break his point streak.

Looking for Jackman to get a goal as revenge against the former team.

5-2 Flames!

^^ I think it was taken in 1967 right after it was built. It was originally called The Husky Tower and then renamed to the Calgary Tower in 1971. I absolutely love how you can see the mountains so clearly in that pic.

Yea I hate how there are taller buildings than the Calgary Tower. What's the point? The really should rebuild it or something.

Both teams have gone 6-3-1 in their last ten. In the Isles last 2 games, they knocked off the Pens and the Wings by using a 1 1 3 trap. Might not be a classic.

Here's hoping for a 5th win in a row!!! With all the doubts and pessimism of the flames lately, it sure is nice to have this nice little streak going and being back to .500 hockey atleast. There have been many teams in many years who have come from the dog house and into the playoffs starting around this time..who is to say that we can't do it?

Our top line and especially Joker is really starting to click finally and that fourth line is really heating it up too which is nice to see. Now if we could get our second and third line to start lighting it up then i think we could see some great hockey soon. Keep it up Flames and beat the Isles!

4-1 Flames

I always worry about games like these where the Flames play weaker teams, because they usually play down to their level. They need to just play their game and stick to their system and they should pull out a W.

Very cool pic of the Tower. I can't believe how much this frigging city has grown.

Are Regher and Bouwmeester going to take this team seriously, or what?

True this has always been the case lately post lockout at least. Now though sure the ISlaes suck big time the Flames are not exactly looking overly far down the standings at them
