This USA team has no chemistry and doesn't know how to create any sort of sustained pressure against this team. The bye really killed us because this team needed to play together more, not less.

Oh well. I'm just upset it had to be Canada that beat us.

The Canadian fans are really being classless tonight, I expected better from them

On another note, this has to be the worst I've ever seen USA play. There looks like there's no chemistry whatsoever going on between them and they're all just trying to do their own thing. Terrible.

Palmieri and Merrill are ****in terrible. Imglad the latter is a Njd prospect, for them to compare him to Lidstrom absolutely floors me and is an insult.

If it wasn't for Campbell the score would be ugly.

GO CANADA

That period, Kreider and Ramage were the only 2 skaters on the US who looked like the knew what was going on. Zucker is trying to do way too much out there, he had a wide open D'Amigo on the powerplay for a tap in but chose to shoot it with 3 Canadien players in the way, selfish play.

Two things are jumping out at me.

1)The USA conditioning doesn't look up to snuff. They are sucking wind.

2)Team Canada looks to be better prepared than the USA. The Canadian coach has them playing a suffocating system that isn't giving the USA any room and really neutralizing the USA speed. The USA team looks like they were told " Just go out and play". Pond hockey will always lose against a team playing a structured team game.

This game is actually closer than it should be because of Campbell. It should be 6-0.

I'm not saying he hasn't been bad tonight, but this performance is hardly on him. People are going WAYYYYY overboard with their questioning of his decision making though. Sure he's been selfish and passed on a couple of opportunities to dish, but people here expect him to give the puck to Kreider literally every time they are on the ice together regardless of the situation on the ice. It's very funny.

I don't recall any post Jonathan made about Palmieri, but I have eyes of my own.

Palmieri is one of the most selfish players I've ever seen.

The kid puts his head down and starts deeking. No regard for who or what is in front of him or if any teammates are open.

He shoots when the shooting lane isn't open.

Double post, sorry.

Again, I'm not trying to say that Palmieri's been good. He's without a doubt a selfish player. It's just that the hate around here has gotten ridiculous.

The only way the US wins is if Derek Stepan shows up like in The Waterboy and leads them to victory. This tournament really makes you appreciate how special Step was/is.

And I can't ****ing stand Canadian fans and I question the hockey gods every night as to why they didn't let us win the gold medal game at the Olympics.

Let's get some goals!

Canada cloging up the neutral zone, back checking hard and getting their man in their own end.

Gotta make quick passes, dump and forecheck hard. Throw the puck on net and crash the net hard.

And for crying out loud grow some fortitude, get more physical. Start hitting this team.

We can't even get the puck in the offensive zone.

What a BS non-call. The fact that the ref was literally right there makes it even more laughable.
