o of course but that is what the deal would be based around. Toronto needs scoring forwards who are not afraid to play the corners (i know seto regressed a bit but this would be a high risk/high reward type deal) while SJ need a top 4 2-way D.

Here are my low value two cents:

I do not see any scenerio where Jason Arnott ends up back with Nashville.

Thomas Vokun would be a great pick up for Ottowa but barring an injury to Varly or Neuvy wold not be pursued by Washington.

Kaberle is always mentioned in trade talks yet never moves, this season will be no different.

The Islanders are finally winning, why trade Moulson and start from square one again.

They will bury King Marty in a Devils jersey.

I'm confused why Brad Richards is on this list... he is Dallas's best player and they look like they'll win their division...

Uncertainty of the Ownership of the Hockey Team. So no big contract goes to him before that gets settled.

I had not heard that.

To me, Nashville makes sense (if he left on good terms) because:
a.) They could use another offensive forward
b.) Come deadline, most of his salary would of already been paid

i think a couple guys need to be added:

jarome iginla
alex semin
joe pavelski

not saying they will be moved, but could. i think the caps could take a kings ransom if they can work out a deal for a team. iginla to a number of places make sense if the cap works-pittsburgh, rangers, avs, kings. and pavelski is yuoung and cheap enough to possibly get a key defensive piece and a solid 2 way forward, if not more. my .02

No Leaf players named Versteeg/Beauchemin/Kaberle/MacArthur are moving, I'll bet my account and it's glorious name of that.
I cannot wait to hold you on that. Be prepared for account deletion VIA February?

All of them get traded plus your next 2 1st rounders for Rick DiPietro in February

I like who to see would be going out to fit in 3 forwards, which are all top 6 players over 11mill dollars at the deadline.

why do people think Moulson will be traded? The Islanders seem to be getting their stuff together and MM seems to be a big part of that. I don't watch a lot of Islander games, but I caught bits and pieces of the last few -- I don't think there's a reason to trade him? Is it a money issue?

A lot of you are very enthusiastic that Setoguchi will get traded to Toronto.

Seto is still an RFA in the upcoming offseason. If he ever gets traded, it wouldn't be this year. It would be after year unless the team wants to pony up the full value. Last I checked, Toronto doesn't have much young valuable assets, nor the high value draft pick.

Its a UFA issue. If he won't resign in NY, they have to try and get some value for him at the deadline. It is iffy...it has been a tough year on the Island, but...

1) This is the team that gave him his shot, so there is probably some loyalty there
2) He plays well with JT
3) The team is playing pretty well lately. If this continues, he could see a bright future that he wants to be a part of.

Brad Richards- No chance he's traded
Tomas Kaberle- Man this guy should have been traded 5 times by now
Ales Hemsky- Another guy who should be traded by a rebuilding team that might not be
Tomas Vokoun- Hrm ... probobly not traded, bad goaltending market, big cap hit
Jamie Langenbrunner- I would think he'd be dealt
Martin Havlat- Too expensive
Robyn Regehr- I can see him moving for sure
Jason Arnott- Can see him being moved
Francois Beauchemin- Lots of interest I bet
Dustin Penner- I would keep Penner and move Hemsky if I was Tambellini
Alex Tanguay- This is a tough one... i'd say keep and move Glencross and Regehr
Tim Connolly- Move
Devin Setoguchi- Move
Bryan McCabe- Expensive rental
Kris Versteeg- Lateral move probobly if moved (that was fast...)
Chris Phillips- Might be better value here than Regehr
Matt Moulson- Would keep if I was NYI
Steve Staios- If Flames can get something for him I would move him... now really
Brian Rolston- lol
Dave Bolland- Not sure why the Hawks would move him now... ?
Niclas Bergfors- Apparently he hasn't been good on Atlanta... but his stats are quite good... so i'm not sure what the deal here is
Niklas Hagman- Waaaaay over-rate and streaky. 2nd Round pick and a long shot prospect and it's a maybe.
Jim Vandermeer- Expensive depth. Might help a team with some banged up d if cheap to aquire
Andrew Brunette- Oh god if available definetly a guy i'd love for the playoffs.
Alexei Kovalev- Tough call. If motivated could probobly win you a round in the playoffs. If not could lose you games. Probobly wont be a cheap rental.
