I love watching Carolina play the Rangers. Cam Ward is a great goalie to watch and imo is pretty underrated. Also good to see Stepan and Skinner in this one. Two of the leagues best young rookies.

Agree, i think Cam Ward has quietly been one of the most consistent goaltenders over the past few seasons. When you look at guys like Thomas, Miller and Fluery they all get a good amount of notoriety for their play, but have been inconsistent for stretches and have had sub-par slides. Cams been a real solid goalie and he seems to keep an even kiel with his game.
This is a must win. Maybe would could use our game in hand on Atlanta for a win?

1st half has been very good honestly... they work hard (for the most part) and haven't really been blown out of games, and have obviosuly been injured up and down the lineup.
The question really is where does the rest of the season go? I think Dubi is right on... this IS a fork in the road.

Made me laugh that sounds familiar. Althjough I don't feel we come out flat I feel we actually come out strong nd hitting but quikcly just make defensive mistakes.

What's he supposed to do? Hit somebody. Draw a penalty. Get under the skin of an opponent. You don't need lots of minutes to do that. Not expecting him to score goals.

He does not have to score but it would be nice to see him make the smart play in the offensive zone. Torts told him not to be a playmaker and shoot more but he seems to only follow that directive when there is no shot to be had.

That's exactly my point. He doesn't need a lot of minutes to be effective or do something to help the team. Or at least be involved.
