Liked the orange until it got that bloody tint, which made the black palatable. But with the mix the Flyers have now, I'm happy. I don't need another logo. I don't need another color.
I don't mind Pittsburgh's Winter Classic jerseys, though, because they are an homage to their early uniforms. That's what the Flyers' are now. And I like that (probably because I'm a grumpy old man).
I don't think the team needs an alternate at all, and if there needs to be, I don't see a reason to make a new one rather than the black Reebok, or at least the black one from the early 2000s. I do like the 80s-90s jersey that's already been posted, but why have another orange jersey?
Anyway, using anything but orange, black and white would be completely retarded. These are the team colors, and any other color is not a team color. This was one of my main points of the Penguins using their Winter Classic jerseys as alternates, as well as the Canadiens alternate jerseys in their centennial season. If it's not your team colour, it's not your team color.

Before they announced the winter classic jerseys (now the road whites) I had hoped they did the white version of this jersey for the WC, and adopt it as the away, so we could have the 70's orange, 90's white, and 2000's blacks. So much for that.
While on the jersey topic, is the 3rd black jersey still around and do they plan on wearing it? I haven't seen it, but I haven't caught every game this year either.

According to MeiGray there is no alternate jersey this year.
i love the first one where the phantoms used it for the one time only deal. wish they brought it back but changed the template a little. they should jsut use our template now but with black and orange. i would love to buy one if i could eve find it again. and the other picture i took of a sweatshirt in kmart. that design is so simple. looks like our away jerseys now just in black. so sick i think itd be cool for an alternate
I still like these but it's been so long that i don't remember if I made them, or if I found them LOL
These are nice but super busy and people hate really busy jerseys. Maybe the Flyers can use these in a future time when fans finally accept busy jerseys full of lines and designs. That'll be like 2016. Book it.
