I understand it is Glen Sather, but do you think he would want to trade Roszival for Commodore?

Does he need a matched pair in Hartford, Commodore/Redden?

So we have exactly 12 healthy forwards now? and 6 defensemen not counting Commie??
Not very good for a road trip. We have to call up 2 players if there is no trade.

Me too. LOL I'd love to be sitting on the edge of my chair and it might make it an easier fall when SH pulls the rug out from under us ...but I'm having trouble thinking he has any muscle with which to turn this nightmare on elm street into west side story.

I'm not surprised by him being waived. I'm actually just shocked it took so long. He been non-existent on the ice since he scored 4 goals after being called up. He's been almost as invisible as Moreau out there.

I had a thought about this... there has been reports that CBJ and Toronto have been talking about a pending trade...

Moreau goes to IR

Wilson gets waived and goes to AHL (or claimed by Toronto for 1/2 price )

Clears up a roster spot for trade between Toronto and CBJ???

Makes sense in my head... but I'm still a CBJ faithful, so I'm crazy, no?

Personally, I'd like to see Commie and Brassard go to Dallas for Brad Richards
(but that'll never happen )

I can't think of anyone from Toronto I would want so hopefully that isn't the case.

Plus Burke has a tendency of only making trades that are good for him.

My guess is that Wilson is about to be traded but the team acquiring him wants to send him to the AHL. Since Moreau is on the IR, then we have a forward coming our way.

We get Trevor Smith. Plus Káňa, Neuber, Murovich are IR. There are enough forwards in Falcons. Possible roster>

Filatov--Smith--Mayorov
Calvert--Guite--Kubalík
Byers--Blunden--Sestito
Tarnasky--D`Alvise--Goertzen
Frischmon

IMO Wilson will be traded. It is interesting that his waiver came after Commodore`s request about trade.

I'm not sure this makes sense. If a team wants Wilson, why not just claim him on waivers now rather than trade for him?

And to BJfan1, he wouldn't be 1/2 price. Any team can claim him, but they get his full salary - he is not going through re-entry waivers.

What's all this talk about Del Zotto? I don't think the Rangers are going to trade him for fair value.

would be ecstatic with MDZ! don't see the rags bailing on him though...he's unlike any other D in their org.

hope is a good thing, unlikely though it is!

honestly, at this point, i'm going to be ok with almost anything that shakes up the room.

the wilson thing is puzzling, since I honestly thought he made a player like Filatov expendable. Kid's got a nice future in the league if he can ever find the right spot.

Torts is bringing up Ryan McDonagh to join the kids at the blueline. Who's on the move? Is it Roz? Is it DMZ?

MDZ is a kid who showed flashes of brilliance but then lost his Mojo. Sound familiar? How much value do you place on an AHL'er with a whopping 9 points this season?

MDZ > Filatov at this point in their careers. MDZ played a full season in the NHL and was productive. I don't know why the Rangers would give up on him at this point.

I am not sure but tell that you are right. And now Filatov will not improve? Do we trade him only for not too good achievments in this part of his career? It would be funny. It is a pity Dyaln McIlrath is so young he is an ideal prototyp of defensman for us.

That is actually a disappointing comeback. Weak.

Why would the Rangers give up on him? Not saying they have. MDZ was benched due to performance issues. He had 37 points last year. This year he can't seem to find the gear. Why are you so quick to give up on Filatov? Same story. (except for the fact that MDZ got a full season in. And is a defenseman.)
