Yeah, the Cogs experiment is over. Giroux was so miffed about being cut from the team that I think if you told him a spot was up for grabs and we just needed to see a little more from him, he would come to play. But all that aside, the only forwards I trust less in our own zone are the 3 bruisers (Smac, Storts and JFJ) only because they don't have the foot speed to counter an offensive attack. But you know who also skates fast for less money... Reddox. Plus with Reddox you get effort every night.
