remaining schedule

Who made this schedule???

12 more road games
21 more home games

The Predators have played the least amount of home games (20) this season and the most road games (29) with Vancouver coming up. Is this an advantage for us going down the stretch???

Teams generally do better on home ice than on the road.

NHL knows our strength as far as home attendance is the 2nd half of the season, and they do their best to accommodate it.

I don't think there's another EC team until mid-March?

Here's hoping for some more 5-1s and 5-2s as opposed to OTs and shootouts

amen ... but usually once we hit the dog days of winter (New year +) we start to trip up for some reason

If anything can give me some sucrease after last night it is a look ahead at our schedule.

21 home games, only 11 on the road.

currently we get points at a 1.35pt/gm clip at home and 1.1/gm on the road

if we can even get 1.2 at home and .9 on the road, that would put us around 94 points, and I'd feel prety good with that.

if we keep that same clip as we are on now, we would finish with 100, and that should get us the 4/5 spot.

so I'll take a deep breath, root for Shea in the Hardest Shot, and start thinking about the trade deadline...

Is there any truth to this? If so, I think its a good move by the NHL.

And to round out the regular season, we finish March/April with 12 of the final 15 games at home.

Our 3 road games are @Buf...@Col...@StL.
