Only thing I'm looking forward to tonight is seeing some Heidi Androl.

Kings will win easily

I think it's going to take some courage to even lace up the skates tonight. It has got to be brutal to know that everyone is talking about you, some are laughing, and that your fan base is up in arms wanting all of you sold to the next bidder. Bad situation, made worse by management that allowed it to get this far.

But I will be here, in front of the tv, cheering my heart out cause despite it all, I still believe that someday, some how, it's all going to come together. These boys can play hockey. I've seen it myself. They may have only one superstar but the rest are willing and able to be soldiers who battle until the end ... and usually uphill. It's what made me love them and I ain't no quitter.

Let's go Jackets. We have something to prove.

Thanks Sam!

Mike could sing this really pretty-like to us...

"I gave you my heart
And I tried to make you happy
And you gave me nothing in return
You know it ain't so hard to say
Would you please just go away
I've thrown away the blues
I'm tired of being used
I want everyone to know
I'm looking for a good time
Good time
Sail on honey
Good times never felt so good"

Remember a couple years ago when we had people fighting each other to make the GDT? And they would post them at 12:01am on game day?
Remember last year when we had a different person making it each game? People still cared, even if it was only to try out new & clever ways to share the misery.
I guess I should be glad that we have a mod to make the GDTs for us, but can't help but feel that most of us have reached a major crossroads with this team. And it is not good.
Remember when we had talented people dedicating hours and hours of time to produce professional quality video tributes to our valiant boys in blue?

Last night, after another blowout loss I found myself thinking for the first time that they should toss the whole lot of them to the curb. Trade everyone, spare no one. I don't care if you retain anyone. You can't build on this. Hell, we haven't even built anything on which to start a rebuilding mode.

I'm more interested in the trade. It's sad when a game can be used as a way of killing time before we see what (if anything) GMSH does.

In the meantime, let's go get an inexplicable win on the second night of a back-to-back. Kings have lost 5 straight overall and four straight at home.

We're NOT going to start this crying/feeling sorry for ourselves AGAIN today!! We will NOT demand that the team suck it up and play on if WE quit before the game even starts. I mean it! I will bag skate each and every one of you!! Suck it up!!

I told my wife last night after the game, that I felt the exact opposite of what I did after the last Ducks game. After that game, we drove straight up to San Jose. After last night's game? I don't feel like driving the 45 plus minutes up the road to LA. I'll be watching from the comfort of home instead.

I'm hoping that all those Jackets fans I saw at the game yesterday who are headed up the 5 get a better game and get to soak up some rays at Santa Monica beach and enjoy a little of what the new LA Live development has to offer. However, if the same team that showed up last night shows up tonight, I've got a bad feeling that the on-ice result will not be good. LA is a team that has struggled lately and has far too much talent to be playing like they have. They are going to be hungry for a win at home, where they have struggled of late.

This is exactly the kind of game you don't bother to watch, only to find the CBJ put a big-time ass-whooping on someone while you slept.
Dammit, I'm slamming a couple of double espressos and staying up for this! Sick of this pitiful, defeatist feeling.
Go Jackets!

I'm following Cougars tune. Today is a new day, we have put up with 9 and a half years of this and if need be I will put up with 9 and a half more if that's what it takes. We have seen what this team is capable of, we know our boys can play they just need to go out and do it! After yesterday's miserable performance I can see the guys taking a good hard look at themselves and come out and play a spirited hard fought game. Go Jackets!

They'll put in a good enough effort to squeak out a 2-1 non-blowout, unimpressive victory...Yes, Columbus...

Otherwise it will be a 5-2 LA win. Kopitar scores a hatty.

It comes down to put up or shut up. Either your in or your out. Which is it?

I understand the hearts filled with pain. Everyone here loves this team and has suffered right along with them. But you cannot allow failure to destroy your desire to win. You can't. You will never win by just sitting back and letting someone else do the work. We, as fans, are demanding accountability but we have to be willing to stand up and be accountable ourselves.

I'm in. I'm all the way IN and I will not back down. Not now. Not ever. If I have to sit here and hold each one of you by the hand until we make it through this then I will. Now, dry the tears and suck it up. Today is a new day. New game. Get a backbone and refuse to lose your desire. Without it, you're nothing.

It will be close for the 1st period (2-0)...then they'll put up 3 and everyone will stop watching, wondering if the "Big Trade" is ever going to come.

Hey, I am with you, I am all in, after all I am a fan, we all are. Fan is short for fanatic. We are fanatics for the Jackets. I get that. But do THEY get that? I am all in, but that doesn't matter in the end. The question is: Are THEY all in? Will the players pay the price to win? Will they do into the corners? Will they compete night in and night out (a problem for ten years now)? Will Howson make a move? Hey, I am all in. I will continue to be. I am a fan. I love the Jackets. But are THEY all in? That is the question.

That is a very good question, Fred. When you're asking people to physically put themselves on the line and in harm's way to win, I think the least we can do is make sure they know that yes, we are watching...yes, we care and Hell yes, we appreciate it.

I am not asking for Pollyanna sunshine. Just loud mouths to inspire sacrifice.
