Calling up Calvert is whats wrong with this team, we need to fill spots with NHL talent....same thing goes for Moore and the other kids. They end up playing before their time and end up stunted because we overwhelmed them. Throw the kids in "to see how they do" is your classic Jake and Brassard stories, unless you plan on giving them 4th line duty to stay away from top NHL defenders instead of trying to make them 2nd liners when theyre not ready.

As is one of the players I mentioned earlier in Tom Gilbert. But now Hemsky does make sense.

Can you point me in the direction of the source that says any of these things will happen?

Christ, he's been up with the club for an hour and I guess he's already been ruined.

Yep, because nothing can happen the rest of the year. I mean, it is 2 PM and we haven't made a trade yet.

Out of curiosity, where did the bit about "within 24 hours" come from? Not saying it's made up, just curious.

Two things that are neither funny, nor ironic, nor pointed:

1) LOLZ this fringe crappy player will be coming to Columbus and that's the big move I crack myself up

2) LOLZ Howson thinks it's a big move if he picks up his dry cleaning a day early. lol

Those must have been some terrible offers. Or something else at work here. Probably the second.

It was via the torg's facebook and the is what he said when asked for more details "after he is gone I have no problem mentioning it but right now he is a Jacket so I'll wait. Trust me you wouldnt want it. You'd want it two years ago. Hell I'd get a Hofty two years ago"

Seems to me that you're implying that Calvert will be thrown to the wolves ala Jake and Brassard when I've seen absolutely nothing saying addressing his role on the team at present.
