according to Bob McKenzie the Jackets placed Mike Commodore on waivers. Usually I'm against picking off the scrap heap but isn't Commodore still a viable NHL'er that can play a good game? If that's the case shouldn't the Isles pick him up?
With Eaton out, it's apparent that the Isles could use some D help, so now Commodore makes sense. Unfortunately the NYI will pass on him because he makes more than the league minimum. (Note that I'm not saying he's worth what he's making now. He isn't.)
