I like to read the boards of the Hawk's opponent prior to the game to get a sense of where the team is at from their fan's perspective - especially when the opponent is an Eastern Conference team which I don't see very often..
Like it when guys come in and give us a low down. Some of us would actually prefer the Hawks to be playing like a juggernaut though
Trust me though, we'll have a good indication within the 1st 10 minutes if this game if the Sens are showing up. If they aren't it will be evident. The last two games have been two of the most pathetic efforts of any team in the NHL this season.
They've had a break, which could be good, but could be bad...given the negative attention and sitting on two ugly losses for 6 nights.
Looks like Smith is getting an audition in Ruutu's usual spot alongside Kelly and Neil. This could be a spot he auditions for in training camp next season. Just something to look for Sens fans...I like the idea of it...Smith has a little offensive ability as he's got a decent shot....so it could work nice with Kelly. He'll stir things up just like Ruutu.
I think they have to be considering trading Kuba - otherwise it's bug**** crazy.
its a certainty that they'd love to trade kuba. he'll be tough to get rid of though. phillips i think is a more likely candidate to be moved off our back end by the deadline. he's better and he doesnt have a cap hit after this year.
The Sens will be down 3-0 after the first. Lehner will start the 2nd period and the team will rally and take the game to overtime in which Karlsson springs Alfie on a breakaway and SCORRRRRRREESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS. THE SENS WIN, THE SENS WIN!
I don't even care anymore. Shame on me and other for suggesting that The Sens resign the guy. The guy I feel bad for here in Melnyk, he's paid him over 8 million dollars to basically do nothing but watch from the stands.
Really, just send him home for the season and let Lehner and Elliott fight it out for starts. Not the way things should go but hey, nothing has gone the right way this year for The Sens.
