Best cheap beer in Canada?
I'm a uni student, don't have lots of money, and curious what you think is the best "cheap" beer (in Canada eh).
I've been drinking James Ready 5.5 a lot. It's $29 for a case of 24. And as the name suggests, it has 5.5% alcohol, more then the usual 5...yay
Edit: more specifically Ontario

Molson Dry king cans have a pretty good taste/cost ratio.

I don't generally buy Canadian, but it's not in the price range of $29 for 24? I thought it was...

I've never bought Canadian, but I've never seen it as a cheap beer. I usually don't buy more than 6 beers at a time, and I consider 'cheap' to be less than $8.00 (after tax) for a 6 pack. Obviously it varies by province.

Faxes.....I don't think its Canadian but its a tallboy can with a whopping 10% alcohol and its only like 2 bucks at the local liquor store. But you got to chug it before it gets warm or it is almost undrinkable. But man does it ever F you up.

As a college student, I have been drinking Busch Light. Classy. However, this is American so I am not sure if they sell this in Canada. Either way, it gets the job done

Definitely James Ready.
If you're in QC or close to it you can get some better stuff for $21 or so.

When I was young and poor this stuff was the cheapest around. Made in Washington and shipped up to BC. Kinda watery though, but it did the trick. No idea if it's still around.

Keystone is the best, then Canadian or Kokanee.

Keystone light is a light beer. Keystone isn't, and it is the best party beer out there.
