Three 20+ goal scorers without using a first rounder in the same draft. Not many teams have drafts like that.

sounding like a broken record...

D'Agostini with two more points today against CLB. Stays hot with 15 pts in last 12 games.

Sergei Kostitsyn with more points than The three overpaid smurfs: Gomez, Gionta and Cammalleri !!

WOW !! Talk about a bad way to invest your money !!

500K vs ~ 19 millions

Gainey you should be ashamed for acquiring theses players.
Gauthier you should be ashamed for giving Sergei for free.
Martin you should be ashamed for how you treated Sergei...

He is probably laughing at the Habs somewhere in Nashville...

Can't wait to see how Andrei Kostitsyn will pan out in this hostile environment...
I'm really afraid regarding my new favorite Eller

Sergei became what I thought he would become. He could have been our player if he would have received fair treatement from Martin.

Good thing Sergei is not French, we wouldn't hear the end of it on RDS.

Not saying we won that trade, I just want to destroy the myth of an unfair treatment to Sergei.

Sergei with another 2 goals + 1 assist tonight VS Atlanta.

1 point away from the 50 points ''plateau''...

He is also on a 10 games point streak.

With 14pts in last 10 games.

Anyone see Koivu's pass on Selanne's second goal tonight?

He was on one leg and falling down but still got it across the ice perfectly to Selanne's stick.

Sergei Kostitsyn hits 50 points and now is tied for the team lead in points along with leading them in goals. D'Agostini has 21 goals and 46 points but with one game left is unlikely to hit 50 points. St.Louis has to have one of the deepest forward groups in the NHL:

David Backes
Alexander Steen
Chris Stewart
David Perron
Patrik Berglund
Andy McDonald
TJ Oshie
Matt D'Agostini

All capable of getting 20+ goals and 50+ points at least.

AND they have Vladimir Tarasenko and Jaden Schwartz. They're issue is D and Halak needing to be more consistent it seems. It doesn't seem right a team with that much depth gets a top 10 pick.

Yap, yap, yap. You shouldn't be mad at Gainey, you should be furious at SK for being one of the crappiest players for what I assume is YOUR team, the Habs. The guy was a bum with us. You should hate him for playing like crap for us and then picking it up elsewhere after a trade.

Just for the sake of arguing, we keep saying that about St.Louis since 3 years now, at least...(they need experienced players, and keep Backes out of the box.)

Since they drafted Johnson 1st overall, in 2006, they have 9 first round selections, and we're not talking about 20-25th picks here...

Thats an interesting situation about the tanking dilemma.

They could be a good point to prove that even if you decide to tank and even if you draft good players, it doesnt mean automatically that you are going to be successful after 3-5 years...

Even so, they're top 10 in the league in goals for/game and they average the 2nd least amount of shots against/game. Every other team that scores as much as them and allow as few shots as them are good teams.
