I'm very unimpressed by the quality of coaching candidates the Broncos are interested in. I couldn't be more convinced that Ellis, Xanders and Elway don't know what they are doing.

Who would you like to see?

I think John Fox is a quality candidate.

I got the same question as AB...

There's just not a lot of great candidates out there. The biggest splashes they could make (Gruden, Cowher, etc) all want front office control which I don't think the Broncos want to relinquish. That leaves you with assistants, former decent Pro coaches or college guys. I really don't want a college guy. And it's just a bad year for assistants out on the market.

If Cowher and Gruden aren't available and it appears they aren't Fox would be my first pick. Failed Bills head coaches don't do much for me.

Elway was interviewed by Channel 9 tonight. Pretty interesting. He really said that Tebow is going to have to improve on being a pocket passer to become an NFL QB, but is a great football player (intangibles, etc..). Sounds like he's 50/50 on Tebow. He also ripped a lot on McDaniels and said that there were some "big head scratches" in the movements made over the past 2-3 years.

Gregg Williams to interview on Wednesday. John Fox pushed back to Wednesday due to weather back East. All per John Elway on Twitter.

Nick Fairley, if he smartens up, would be a nice pick at #2, especially if we switch to the 4-3. He's making some plays tonight.

he would make a great 4-3 DT, not so much as a pure nose tackle.

I think Warren Sapp is a good comparison for him, skill wise.

He projects well as a 3-4 DE. Dareus has the advantage of playing in the 3-4 at Bama. There are a few intriguing NT prospects in the 2nd and 3rd round.

1st pick in the draft is either going to be Fairley/Bowers/Newton

So this whole Melo thing is getting out of hand. I think Uijiri is blowing it. Its like he has a great deal, but he always wants more.

The package of Harris, Favors, 2 1sts, Morrow and throw-ins is awesome return in my opinion. You get a young all-star type guard Harris, a kid in Favors that could easily develop into a Dwight Howard type player (and when I say that I mean a 20pts-12reb-3blk type power center, cause no one is as good as Dwight at that position), 2 1sts are always good, and Morrow isn't that bad and could be a good role player.

yeah we lose Melo, so what its not like he was going to be here next year anyways. Billups, I love having him on the team as he is the hometown kid, but lets face it he is on the decline and has played pretty poor all season and he has to realize that the NBA is a business and stuff like this happens.

It is ridiculous that Uijiri is now trying to force Harrington down their throats as well. This is probably the best deal available, and I sure hope they don't lose it because they are trying to force another ridiculous contract down New Jerseys throat. If they are that desperate to deal Harrington then find another team in a completely different trade. I guarantee that if the Nuggs wait until the trade deadline to deal Harrington, they would have some suitors, he would be a solid addition to a playoff team, we could deal him for some expiring contracts and move on.

the deal the Nuggets were offered was an incredibly good deal for them. Essentially, they upgrade Chauncey and get depth players, an up and coming star, and draft picks. What more do you want?

The deal as it is happens to be outstanding. Honestly, if I was the Nets I woudn't do this deal. Talk about sending the farm for a player.

I see where they're coming from in making the deal. They need a marquee player to attract others, and to shake their image as the ****** Nets for the Brooklyn whatever-they-ares now. Carmelo is their best chance at that. Without him, Chris Paul or whoever else won't even glance their direction.

I do not blame him. I wouldn't want to interview for this team either.

http://www.denverbroncos.com/multime...nt-videos.html

The Denver Broncos are publishing videos of their candidate's interviews with the team. The first team in history to do so. I don't agree with this at all and I can see why candidates are shying away from it. I wouldn't want my interview with someone posted on the company's main web site.

They aren't showing the actual interview, it not like the fans are getting a play by play of the interview. All the videos are just some PR guy asking his own questions, totally separate from the actual interview the candidates are doing with the higher ups. I don't have any problem with what they are doing.

I don't think the reason people are dropping out of the race is due to the fact that the Broncos PR team is asking each of the new candidates a few questions and posting them on the website for the fans to see. And if candidates are dropping out because of that then I hope they never get another opportunity for a Head Coaching position because that is really petty.
