But yet it was, considering it was his worst performance ever. Which is precisely the definition of out of the ordinary.
And calling Cammy soft is quite humourous in itself.
I guess it might be humorous if you don't understand what it means. He loses almost every 1 on 1 battle he enters. He's pushed off the puck line no one else on this team. That is the definition of 'soft' in hockey.
Cammy has heart, and he tries to have grit, but lets face it, he can't hold his own on the boards, and he is a turn over machine, he gets hit he topples over like a jenga set, he is soft, period.

I'd rather someone who's small who competes his heart out than a guy with size who does jack all.

Sure. But heart won't necessarily win you battles unless you're in some children's fairy tale. I appreciate what cammy tries to do, and the problem with the team is we have too many of the same type of player. It's not his fault, just like it's not hamrlik's fault that he can't snipe or dangle with the best of them, that's just the type of players that they are.

Eight minutes to win it
Moen and Price's work on PK key to win
The Montreal Canadiens won thanks to a strong start; taking a 2-0 lead after eight minutes, and carrying that to an eventual 3-2 win over the Vancouver Canucks.

Soft players dont lead the league in playoff goals, sorry, that just doesnt happen. The guy battles for scoring positions, both in the slot and in front of the net, and is a chippy ****er to play against. He plays to his stengths, ie, the middle of the ice and his shot, and has decent playmaking ability, the boards arent his strength, but he is not abysml there by any stretch.
I couldnt count how many times I saw Camms take a beating in the playoffs last year by defensemen all over the ice, but he always came back and put the puck in the net; that is not a soft player.
Two minutes to lose it
Habs unable to pull it together over final two minutes
The Montreal Canadiens took too many penalties, and fell apart during the final two minutes of play on route to a 5-4 loss to the visiting Toronto Maple Leafs.
Hahaha another good read. I loved your Gill comments was funny. Oh well not everyone has a good game every day. I think had Price been in nets we'd be happy today. Since Auld got the start...
Despite the distraction of the upcoming trade deadline,The Montreal Canadiens were able to maintain their focus long enough for a 4-3 win over the Carolina Hurricanes.
