I think this years tournament could be used to bring in some new blood. Granlund, Pulkkinen, Vatanen 2nd or 3rd line would be great.

As a Jokerit fan, I have to say that Ossi Väänänen and Janne Lahti are quite notable players in our league. If Ozzy keeps playing like he is, I think he'll be a definite choice for the WC team.

Sure we will have many good guys available, but after what he showed in the tournament in Moscow I am fairly certain Komarov will be in the line-up. Can't believe how much he has developed over the years and doing mighty fine in the KHL.

Would be a bit scared if Nordlund would play big minutes, but we will see.

I like Komarov, but I'd rather have Jakke if we can get him. Too many good players to have 2 muckers on the roster.

NHL - J. Jokinen, J. Pitkanen and T. Ruutu. Canes won't make the playoffs. Take my word for it.

Yeah I doupt we will be putting both in the line-up. Forgot about Jakke for a sec, but just saying Komarov wouldn't be a bad option if Jarkko for some reason wouldn't come.

OJ retired his international career after the olympics, so you can cross him out.

Yes he did, but you never know with these guys. Selanne basically said that the 2006 Olympics would be his last ones, but still played in 2010.

I think sometimes they say it just so that nobody will place any expectations on them.

Excuse me, but why did Olli do that? Did he had any explanations?

If I remember correctly he said it was time for the new guys (but I think he wasn't just totally satisfied with the way he was treated, also with the minutes given). Don't really know what was the real reason.

What do you guys say about Jalasvaara? Will he make the team? What i've heard he's been pretty good in KHL.

Rämö/Vehanen/Rinne

Pulkkinen - Kontiola(a) - Lehterä
Granlund - Immonen - Aaltonen
Hartikainen - Lindgren - Lehtonen
Komarov - J Lajunen - Pihlström

Lepistö(a) - Vatanen
Nummelin(C) - Puistola
Salmela - Niskala

Jokipakka/Niemi - Donskoi (13.h)

I'm not bold enough to pick the Finns from Minnesota, Anaheim or Carolina (or few AHL-teams). Lepistö's contract ends... Salmela's contract also ends but I think that he is maybe moving to Europe(KHL), and WC would be a chance for him to show his skills

I would't mind if they put 2007 WJC line Osala-Lindgren-Lehtonen as third line

That sounds good Didn't put that on my roster but if Osala is free to play, that's the perfect line for them.

Then Hartikainen takes Pihlström's or Leksa's place on fourth line

Pulkkinen - Kontiola - Lehterä
Granlund - Immonen - Aaltonen
Osala - Lindgren - Lehtonen
Hartikainen - J Lajunen - Pihlström

Jalonen always puts Kontiola and Aaltonen in the same line.. Anyone agrees that their teamwork doesn't work? They're maybe too similar. Imo that's why Aaltonen hasn't made any points in the short run. In last EHT Jalonen tried a line of Lehtonen - Kontiola - Aaltonen.. They're all right-handed and pretty similar players. It didn't work at all. Why, oh why, can't you put them on the different lines, Jalonen?
