Sharp is the Hawks best player this year and is 3rd in NHL in goals

We aren't trading him

See that is the problem with your whole idea

Fisher is not a #2 C and to have him as our #2 C would make no sense as he isn't a true #2 C

Toews, Sharp, Bolland, Dowell...Hawks are fine at centre.

Add depth on the wings if anything, like a Chris Neil type.

I would still like to see us get a #2 C so we can move Sharp back to LW because our LW depth sucks

Brouwer
Kopecky
Bickell
Stalberg

Brouwer does his role on Toews/Kane line
Kopecky is too inconsistant to play as much top 6 as he does
Bickell is perfect 3rd line LW
Stalberg sucks ,,

If Hawks have no plans to bring back Morin this year we should be looking for someway to upgrade our LW side if we dont get a #2 C

If looking for a winger, Bourque? He is a RW though. Glencross is probably already on the block.

And if anyone cares, Jokinen has been better of late. Still a good fit as a checking center

do you guys still need a bottom pairing D-man? Arnott + Greene for picks?

Chi-town doesn't need a center.

Just go back to:
Player X - Toews - Kane
Kopecky - Sharp - Hossa

It's more a matter of needing a #3/4 defenseman who can take pressure off the top four to always be playing at their best, and to mentor Leddy.

The Hawks picks are in play but unless the player is fairly cheap they would need to move warm bodies out to bring any in.

I think they would be most interested in moving Stalberg, who's experiment has ended in rather abject failure and who cannot play in the Hawks puck control type system, since he has no puck presence whatsoever, unable to win it from the enemy and getting rid of it as soon as possible, generally as a weak shot on net, whenever he gets it from a friend.

And yes, the Hawks would indeed be interested in both 2/3rd line center types (especially a big one), and scoring, creative, and also hopefully big LW.
