Trevor Daley : Most Improved player?

I wasn't registered last season, but I remember that he was incredibly hated and everyone wanted to get rid of him, he was that bad.

Its 43 games into this season, and I'm sure I'm not the only one whose had their opinon changed.

Hes been great this year, hes had occasional defensive blunders, but so does every defensemen. Hes not putting up the offensive numbers that we would like (50+) but he generates so many scoring chances just because of the skater he is, even if he doesn't get any points off them.

Defensively hes been good aswell IMO, his positioning is so much better than it used to be. Anyone else think he can eventually challenge Robidas for best defensemen on the team? Probably not, but hes been getting better as the season goes on.

In closing, most improved player? I think so.

I ragged on him at the start of the season but he has probably been the Stars best d-man. Robidas' habit of taking bad penalties puts him slightly behind Trevor in my mind this season.

His improvement in play is definitely a reason Dallas is doing better this year. I'm starting to like the guy but he still didn't deserve 6 years and a NTC.

The only one who even attempts to clear the front of the net is Fistric. So depressing looking at our D

he has been loads better this year, I still don't think that he is completely worth the contract extension but I can't deny his progress

Daly has been better for sure but he could fall back to his play last year at anytime

Yeah I think Benn is the only answer to this question. As for Daley he wasn't worth the raise or the term. As far as the worst contract decisions made this one is right there with Robidas after Woywitka and Barch. Six years of this? Really?

Bumped a thread that when created Daley was like a #2.

And Benns not really improved, this was expected from him.

I'd agree in part in not including Benn, he has been great but I don't think many people expected him to be this good, this soon.

I'm really impressed of Daley, two game winning goals in a row and they weren't easy to score. Besides Larsen, he is maybe the best Stars defender at the moment.

Smart move by Daley on the goal, most defensemen would have shot it once the puck get's to their stick.
