Unbelievable.
Close call.

Kings actually played well 90% of the game. Should have scored probably 6+ with the chances they got. Garon didn't play that bad at all.
Quick on the other hand....
First goal - WHY
Second goal - WHY
Third goal - A good shot
Fourth goal - WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY
I'm just gonna act like we won 6-1 with Quick's three goals as the third team in this game.
90% of the game? The Kings weren't the same after the first goal, if you think they were, you are kidding yourself.
First goal was a fluke, it happens,
Second goal, Quick let himself get pulled out of position, but I am surprised that no one mentioned the absolute patience showed by Nash, seriously guys, one of the premier goal scorers in the league, had a crap load of patience for that goal.
Third goal, nothing you can do,
Fourth goal, what exactly did you want Quick to do, Nash jumped over him to get to the loose puck, where was the dman, the center, anyone?
Anyways, it was a great period and a half....and then they just stopped playing...
Just finally caught up for the end on my recording.
Great, great start. Really impressive 2 periods and then a crap 3rd.
The Kopitar, Doughty, and Johnson passes on 3 of the first 4 goals were great. Lewis had a beastly PK shift as well that lead to his prime SH chance. LOVED seeing Kopitar mix it up with Boll after the hit on Brown. Props to Boll as well for recognizing it was Kopitar and not teeing off on him.
Quick was crap tonight. 3 goals were directly his fault. I know he's a confident goalie and you can't take that aspect of his game away from him and would do so by telling him not to touch the puck. With that, they better really work with him on his decision making with the puck and his stick handling.

What? They had clear and open chances at goal. Williams hit a post. Stoll, I believe, hit a post. Doughty had a few open chances in front of the net and sent them wide. Kopitar had a play where he could have buried it.
And on the 4th goal, Quick came out to play it, then got gun shy, and then strolled backwards. He was just off the whole night.
The Jackets only had control of the game when it went to 4-3. They started pressing and the Kings looked scared to give up another. Besides that, they really didn't challenge us at all. Through the first two periods, I don't even remember them getting close to scoring outside the final three seconds of the period.
Terry Murray has a problem with his lines, I don't recall seeing our 4th line getting ONE shift in the 3rd period? And we were up 4-0. You got to let everyone play lol, this isn't last year when you had Halpern on the 4th line with Harrold and Ivanans, you actually have talent on your 4th line this year

If he would have played the puck on that 4th goal, it would have resulted in a penalty, what exactly did you want him to do?

The Kings should have won this game 5-1/6-2.
It wasn't gunshy, it would have been a penalty if he played it. Strolled backwards? As soon as he realized he couldn't play it, he hugged the post, paddle down, are we talking about the same goal here?
Anyways, The Kings were a different team after the Calvert goal...
I don't think it's hate. Quick flat out gave Columbus three goals with poor puck handling and positioning.
And?
He wasn't good tonight. So what? No need to rant on and on about it. He's been our MVP all season. I've seen many elite players suck on any given night. It's not a big deal.
